Thanks EZ B. Maybe the international press will come to our rescue. Until our press becomes honest and impartial we are in a serious bind.

Bills of Attainder are unconstitutional, and the proposed legislation to ban twice impeached but not convicted presidents from Arlington applies to only one President in history. As such it is unconstitutional.

And of course, it's violation of due process and equal protection to punish anyone who was acquitted of all charges.

Either the democrats are too stupid to understand the Constitution and their jobs, or they don't care, which is a violation of their oath of office.

earlier in this thread I tried to keep track of the split of DEM/REP in the House of Representatives after the Nov 2020 election

Still a bit messy to describe, but my best look:

Currently:

221 DEMs
211 REPs
3 vacancies

435 total members

What are the vacancies ?

Louisiana 5 Luke Letlow (R) died in Dec 2020 before assuming office. Special election on 20 Mar 2021

Texas 6 Ron Wright (R) died 7 Feb 2021. Special election to be held later in 2021

Louisiana 2 Cedric Richmond (D) joined the Biden Administration. Special election on 20 Mar 2021

xxxxxxxxx

The DEMs are still plotting how to steal Iowa 2. Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R) won by 6 votes. She is currently seated in the House and is part of the 211 REPs listed above.

Marc Elias of Perkins Coie law firm is leading the effort to steal the seat for the DEMs.

https://www.breitbart.com/poli...ested-iowa-election/

The Democrat-controlled House of Representatives has taken initial steps to make a decision in a contested Iowa election, one involving Republican Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks and Amy Hart, who lost to Miller-Meeks by six votes.

Democrats have now begun to shift their focus to the race after Hart’s continuous claim that Miller-Meeks was improperly declared the winner, although multiple recounts have shown otherwise.

the “House Administration Committee gathered virtually Friday afternoon to finalize the process by which it will adjudicate Hart’s claim, which was filed under the Federal Contested Elections Act.”

With a slim, five seat majority, it appears Democrats have realized the importance of the seat currently held by Miller-Meeks, who was sworn in in January.

“Members unanimously agreed to a resolution that establishes procedures the committee will abide by as it considers recent elections contested under the act,”

According to the Hart campaign, which offered praise for the committee for “ensuring that every legally-cast vote is counted,” there are 22 ballots that were improperly rejected.

Hart’s team of lawyers claim she would have defeated Miller-Meeks by nine votes if the improperly rejected ballots in question were not improperly rejected.

Hart’s team of lawyers, led by Marc Elias , who represented Democrat challenges to state rules throughout the 2020 election, alleged in a court filing earlier this month that a close congressional race in New York’s 22nd Congressional District between Republican Claudia Tenney and Democrat Anthony Brindisi was marred by faulty voting machines

Last December, during a video shared to social media, Hart insisted she is not challenging the results through Iowa courts because “ there was only one way that we could get the result that we need, and that is to take this to the Committee on House Administration .”

With more than 400,000 votes cast and an official recount certified by state officials, it was confirmed that Hart was defeated by Miller-Meeks by six votes.

xxxxxxxxxx

same old game. "count every vote". keep counting till the DEM gets ahead. stop counting

Some of them may be too stupid, but I think the majority just don't care about the Constitution, and never have. They violate their oaths all the time and think nothing of it. May they all be struck by lightning for dissing God.

Trump to Speak at CPAC in First Post-Presidency Appearance

Ian Walters, spokesman for the American Conservative Union, confirmed that Trump will be speaking at the group’s annual Conservative Political Action Conference on Feb. 28.

Trump is expected to use the speech to talk about the future of the Republican Party and the conservative moment, as well as to criticize President Joe Biden’s efforts to undo his immigration policies, according to a person who spoke on condition of anonymity.

CPAC is being held this year in Orlando, Florida, and will feature a slew of former Trump administration officials including former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, as well as Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem.

Trump has been keeping a relatively low profile since he moved from the White House to Palm Beach, Florida, in January, but reemerged last week to conduct a series of phone interviews to commemorate the death of conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh.

Trump has a long history with CPAC, which played a key role in his emergence as a political force.

No, it’s not doomed whatsoever. What remains of the GOP afterward would realize they have no choice but to accept a massive mandate... and then join with the newly formed party. The party of Lincoln wouldn’t be abolished, just evolved away from the conniving, self-serving clan that has become the GOP.

I am proud of my state for it's conservative policies but SE Florida is becoming a cesspool of liberal thought with all the pettifoggers moving into the area from the NE. (Don't NY my Florida!) Having Trump, and powerhouse Republican activities in their midst is piss in their Wheaties and I love it. I expect to hear Trump lambaste RINOS for their disloyalty in his speech at the CPAC, it will be worth hearing.

SCOTUS has denied hearing any of Pennsylvania's election challenges - no standing before the election and now moot that the election is over. Roll Eyes

SCOTUS has also said that New York prosecutors can have Trump's tax returns.
