My condolences. Prayers lifted up for you, your niece, and your family. My Mom died 2 days before my Dad's birthday many years ago. We intentionally didn't do any funeral planning that day and we (paternal grandmother, my brother, and I) had a spent a low-key birthday with Dad. I too am sorry to hear of your loss. Hold onto the good memories to carry you through.
