My condolences. Prayers lifted up for you, your niece, and your family.

My Mom died 2 days before my Dad's birthday many years ago. We intentionally didn't do any funeral planning that day and we (paternal grandmother, my brother, and I) had a spent a low-key birthday with Dad.

I too am sorry to hear of your loss.

Hold onto the good memories to carry you through.

My hope for your family is to be able to over look the fresh pain of loss and still be able to enjoy the celebration of your niece's new beginning in her life.
