I hope Para has something like a Ruger Single Six, and 100 rounds for it. He may need to venture out and take a few pigeons (they taste like dark meat chicken I hear, if prepared right) and squirrels. At the least he could barter them for other survival goods.

The water main broke across the street during the night.
We have been forced to bathe in the ditch this morning as the work crew becomes fewer and fewer as they work.

But they are delicious.

Just heard the news flash:

If you're worried just dress like a clown.

Cannibals don't eat clowns, they taste funny.

He almost made it to 25 years. I still will hold out hope that Para makes it through the weekend of horror.

I actually made the Poison Ivy mistake as a kid. Don't know why, because home was not far away, but we were out playing in a wooded area and I decided to play...I don't know...pioneer, and, besides, wild bears aren't the only ones. The result was a most unpleasant experience. I don't recommend it.

My wife and kids are currently in a condo on the beach in Gulf Shores with her parents. They're getting 5 inches of snow today and she sent me a video of them using boogie boards as sleds and sledding down the beach. I was impressed...they actually got pretty good distance. Beach sledding ...who knew?

Still better than here, though. -6 with a wind chill of -20 today. Brrrr.
