I'm in. But it's not exciting.

Kid is hanging out with the grandparents for a week down at the lake. Work just won't allow me to take time. Short handed and to busy.

So I'm just going to take a few days here and maybe go shooting.

I’m in, thanks. Trip to SC for USMC boot camp graduation. A lot of trips to the beach. I am determined to find a good mountain bike trail that isn’t too technical.

Count me in please. No plans here other than recovering from back surgery and doing the best I can to stay out of this Texas heat. This year is going to be exceptionally hot as we are already above 100.

Nothing exciting, just trying to make another year. Retired, 79 years young and helping wife with recuperating from hip replacement.

Count me in.

Count me in for a chance, please!

We're moving in 2 weeks, closing on 6/21

Taking a beach vacation to Pensacola in July for a week.
Not looking forward to the fuel bill on that one, but it'll be a fun trip.

Hope all is well with Dave & Mimi's!

Thanks, David. I'm kinda like Skins. I'm retired, fixed income with a part time min wage job and will be pinching pennies. Try to save a little for the high heating oil prices this coming winter.

Thanks for the chance Dave!

No big plans or travel for us this year. Hosting a big family reunion at the end of summer so maybe a big pig roast.

I just retired and have effectively moved into my RV. Staying at a cousin's lot in Lake Tahoe, then neading to Utah and Yellowstone. Not too sure beyond that.

Have a great summer!

Working mostly.

Heading home (NM) for a week next week for anniversary and step-daughter's wedding.

Going to Lubbock in July.

Second week in September going to Arkansas to ride motorbikes with a buddy. That's the one I'm looking forward to!

Put me in please. Nothing new planned by me for the summer, just going out to the lake and the range as the weather and money allows.

I’m not doing much as I’ll be waiting for my retinal detachment to heal. But you can come follow me for a week and see me do nothing. That way you have something to do with the family and I get a watch - you and your family watching over me.

On a serious suggestion, you could go around and enjoy eating at different restaurants of different kinds. That’s what I miss about California; we can take for granted the many different cuisines available.

There’s no Vietnamese or Indian restaurant near me. To get decent Chinese, I have to drive 45 minutes.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Rented a house across from Lake Erie in July. Kids and grandkids all under one roof for a week. Lots of cooking, cleaning and babysitting for grandma and grandpa. Beer, wine and a couple cigars when the time is right.

More or less the usual (work work, house/yard upkeep, taking daughter to and from various practices - diving, soccer, pole vaulting and her summer job at the pool’s snack-stand), taking walks with my wife to help her recover from a car accident, a week with the fam at Wildwood Crest, NJ, squeeze in a visit or two with my parents, AND, helping my son prepare for heading off to college as a freshman!!

Thank you for a chance!!

I will jump in! We have been busy doing a bunch of family activity already, and we are gearing up for several June birthdays. Grandsons are talking about going to car shows, and we will be hosting a couple of granddaughters for Volleyball camp in July.

Thanks, Dave
