Not a "mystery karma" per-say but if you win you'll get a watch Smile

Just tell me what you are doing this summer is the only thing I ask. Need ideals for the family.

Unlucky #1 ... I am in the middle of remodeling the master bathroom. Stripped down to the subfloor and studs. Now running plumbing and wiring. I am still able to do, kinda, and can not afford a subcontractor.

**** Kinda dawned on my that you were looking for fun stuff, I think. Today I bought over 1,000 lbs of tile for the shower that this old man humped three times: onto the cart, into the truck and into the house. I am tired.

BUT ... what did enter my mind since I know you are a surfer, and I an old retired one, was maybe making your own custom made boards for you and your kids. It would be a great way to learn how to shape and fiberglass as well as custom make the look you each would want. Something meaningful to each. I know my custom board still means something to me 50 years later.

I'm retired so my calendar is pretty empty . Mow the grass once a week . Go to my grandson's baseball games . Finish up a bathroom project . Mostly just staying close to the house due to the gas prices . Always something that needs attending to here anyway. And please count me in . sir .

It’s going to be a long summer for us, but we are eventually going to Myrtle Beach for Vacation at the end of August.

I don't think the family wants to do what I'll be doing. Housework and pinching pennies.

We’ll be going to our mountain sanctuary a few times, and possibly Colorado to ride a train. Mostly enjoying the newest grandchild as much as possible. Thanks, Dave! Have a great summer!

Please add me. Got a week in Sanibel coming up next month, brother and family, son and family visiting from the old country. Be spending time on the lake, cooking out, visiting the County and State Fairs, shooting some rounds, living the dream!

Unfortunately my wife got down-sized from her mortgage processing job (heads up, the market is turning)... so it's unlikely that we'll be able to do our annual White Water rafting trip this year.

Many places out here have family-friendly options, where portions of the rivers are more "float-like" and it's a great bonding opportunity for those that can tackle the full rapids.

I shall respect you until you open your mouth, from that point on, you must earn it yourself.

Working at retiring, got a lot of customers who are afraid I'm just going to stop! I assure them that I'm just slowing down and that I will continue on as my body allows. 53rd year at Plumbing & Heating has made my body hurt bad!

I've got a summer of work ahead of me trying to define a next generation product.

Hope to take a break where a watch would be both handy and irrelevant: handy as in timing Old Faithful or irrelevant as in checking how long it takes me to go up the sand dunes of Pismo.

Our car group goes there every year for a week in the mountains. We're also doing a 6 day cruise to The Bahamas and Half Moon Cay. The rest of the time will be pool parties at the parents and lake trips with a mix of skiing, fishing, and camping.

Not likely what you'd be interested in doing, but here's what I have planned:

1.Traveling to NYC to get my daughter settled into her housing for her 9 week internship

2. Seriously dry firing and getting it's something resembling fit to compete in the IDPA National Championship in CO in late September

No, Daoism isn't a religion

Not planning any trips this summer, but I'm taking a week off for a "staycation" at the end of the month.

DAvid, thanks for the opportunity.

With our youngest graduating high school, we are finally taking our 2020 trip to Europe to see family. Ought to be fun. Then he's off to college in late August. At least when I arrive in Europe, gas prices won't be such a shock.

I don't think you have plans to send your oldest to college this summer though Wink.
