Hello, first let me apologize for asking this but I am quite confused and certainly don't want to piss off the ATF. I have one of those little single shot 410 ( they used to call them Snake Charmers). I would like to shorten the barrel from 18" to about 14".... IS this legal ?? I have asked a couple of folks and get different answers.....I don't want to screw this up. Thanks for any info. mike | ||

I personally don't know what a snake charmer is, but I'm assuming this a .410 break open shotgun with a stock. In which case going to 14" makes it an SBS. File a form 1 and be happy. no cost in the current situation. probably a couple of days wait to get it back. “So in war, the way is to avoid what is strong, and strike at what is weak.” | |||
