Prayers sent to you both. People don't always think about what the spouse is going through. Take care,

Pyker, sending good thoughts to your wife first, then to you and your family. This can't be fun, stay strong.

This reminds me of a gun buddy who got in a car wreck at lunch out with some other mutual gun buddies. Hit his head pretty good got taken to ER, did a CT scan or one of the scans.
From that they find a tumor in his head due to the scan. Guess it was easy to get and non cancerous but would not have found it till symptoms started from it.

Hope her treatment is effective and easy for her.

Sorry, Pyker. I like her odds though, and obviously she’s a fighter. God bless you both.

This is the truth! I felt so sorry for my wife when I was going through cancer treatment. She was a rock, but went through hell the whole time and there was little I could do to help.

Good luck to you both Pyker. It sounds like she might breeze through this having caught it so early.

Jim

My bladder cancer was found when I had a kidney stone. Luckiest kidney stone ever! So there.
Best wishes!

Prayers for your wife kicking cancer's ass again.

I also want to echo the silver lining comments about finding it at stage 1. Many years ago my Mom was getting a routine check for kidney stones (she was a prolific kidney stone grower so they used imaging to check quantity and size) and they found a 3" diameter and 5" long ovarian tumor on the edge of the image. Pure luck as doctor said most people don't find an ovarian tumor until it gets so big that it smushes their stomach.

The upside is it was caught early, and it has a great survival rate. Never the less I pray for a speedy recovery and hope the mending is fast and easy for you both.
