This is exciting to see our astronauts take off from USA soil again. I grew up watching NASA liftoffs in the mid 60’s.

So far, so good.

Those touchscreens are a far cry from the dials/switches era of control panels.

Don't worry Boeing Starliner has some of those. Not as crazy as the Space shuttle but more of a 'middle ground' of with computer screens but still plenty of switches.

Considering the last shuttle launch was 2009, and that platform was using 70's era tech; visually its refreshing. Just had a call from my dad who was remarking about the space suits...yes dad, much less bulk than what the shuttle crews would wear.

Falcon 9 shown with a satellite fairing and not a Dragon capsule but it gives you an idea.

Ah, predicting the weather here in Florida is like trying to pick Powerball numbers. Forecast noted 80% rain chance and right now in Orlando its sunny and clear. Here's to a great successful launch today!! I so hope this ends for good our dependence on foreign players to get us into space.

Dang, a privately owned, manned vehicle, into space.

Outstanding and historical accomplishment.

Can you imagine the 'pucker' factor for the two guys sitting on top of that huge stick of dynamite? Amazing show of courage for them.
