He’s being a bitch. You should tell him to go dry up.

He’s being overly sensitive. I might excuse it if he evac’d or lost his home but generally ya gotta take back what ya dish out.

And the coastal elites definitely consider TN flyover if they consider it al all.

How long has he been badmouthing where you live?

That is an interesting question - I guess ever since I have known him, but it is more of a "sympathy for the unwashed" sort of an attitude. He "knows" he has a superior lifestyle because of his location, but would never deliberately insult me or my life style.

I, on the other hand, am a great believer in learning to laugh at yourself (it tends to keep the ego in check!).

He's a whiney little biotch.

Hee can dish it out but not able to take it.

Tell someone who was raised in San Diego and still lives here said so.

Agree with others. Don’t apologize for anything.

By his attitude, he seems left leaning and blames other things when in reality he probably voted for politicians and policies that are resulting in water shortages and fires.

Dryness is cyclic. But the water shortages are preventable.

^^^The severity of the wildfires would be mitigated and/or significantly reduced by responsible forest management, therefore much of the damaging impact IS preventable as well!

Your "friend" is a thin-skinned pussy who can dish it out but can't take it.

Tell him that's what happens when your State Gov't diverts viable water sources to the Pacific.

How much bottled water do you think China pulls out of CA every year? Tell him to Google that.
