Time to start the backtracking… Dave Chappelle Sets Record Straight About Jamie Foxx Hitting Attacker A 23-year-old man named Isaiah Lee has been identified as the armed man who stormed the stage and tackled Chappelle to the ground. After the commotion, Chappelle thanked fellow comedian Jamie Foxx and rapper Busta Rhymes, for helping detain the man, but a rep for Chappelle says he was joking about their involvement. Chappelle's rep, Carla Sims, told TMZ that Chappelle hopped right back on the mic with jokes after Lee was caught by security and that he was only joking that Busta and Jamies were stomping out the 23-year-old suspected attacker backstage. At an after-party, Chappelle jokingly said the situation is bad when Jon Stewart can get some punches in. Sims told the outlet that was a joke, too, and said none of the three participated in Lee's detainment. The LAPD says Lee was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon after they recovered a replica gun that shoots out a blade when used properly. It's unclear if Lee, who was taken to the hospital for medical treatment, is seeking legal action after claiming excessive force by people backstage.
