We share your sorrow, Bald1

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Forty-four years ago we had a son for six days. Trust me, folks, I think about him every day, and what might have been, but never was.

He died on your country's birthday, 4th July, in 1978.

So bald1, what you and your family must be going through is unspeakably painful, and in a very small way, Mrs tac and I share it.

Bless you all.

So terribly sorry to read this. My screen must be getting bad as it is getting all blurry. Know that you will meet him again, in a much nicer place!

I can't say I know exactly how you feel, but I can say that I understand your pain.

I'm very sorry for your loss.

The pain eases, but it never goes away entirely.
We lost our son in 2009 at age 25. We also think of him many times a day, every day.
