Delivered & hung.
It was carved one sided due to where it was to be hung.

In 2d, I’d suggest garage art or maybe a pub sign. But, maybe 3D is your next challenge. Ducks are classic, or other animal shapes.

What an amazing job GW! Love how the grapes turned out. Almost a shame that the sign doesn't have a small dim overhead spotlight shinning on it to accentuate the craftsmanship and color of the grapes. A stunning job AAA+++

Pretty damn bad ass, well done sir!

I wish I had your talents.

As electrician, can't argue with the light suggestion. Over the top for a bathroom sign, but it would highlight the craftmanship.

Absolutely fantastic work. That look quite awesome.

A wooden replica of your favorite pistol?

It was a gift. Nothing more.
I too would argue with the placement of a few items & their lighting.
But being a gift it is theirs to do with as they please.
They are very nice & good people. Otherwise I’d not have done it for free.

Sometimes, you just want to do something for those who you like.

Is there anything you can not do.
I have seen your metal work and now this.
You should have a studio to let the public view your great work.

God has gifted your hands and mind.

I’m sure my wife’s list is longer than mine as to what I can’t do.
But two very annoying things I can not seem to do is use a multi meter or a framing roofing square to their full potential.
I can only use those in the most basic ways.

You mean like working with a pair of sawhorses on the ground and laying out and cutting hip, valley, and jack rafters. Then sending them up to the guy on the roof and they fit perfectly? Smile

Yep, I have a friend who built homes on an Amish crew who would stop over when I was building the three additions onto my home.
He tried & tried to get me up to speed as I was hand cutting rafters on my cathedral ceilings.
My brain has yet to get it. Cutting the birds mouth correctly just from measurements just never took.
