So sorry to hear this. There never seems to be enough time with our loved ones. I wish I understood how truly fast time passes when I was young and how much I’d miss family who pass. Hospice palliative care helped tremendously for my mom who seemed to be in horrible pain following strokes and dementia. She slept and didn’t seem to feel pain or think and worry according to them. It made the transition painless for her and less painful for us knowing she wasn’t suffering. I hope you get that moment to say goodbye before those meds start. My condolences and wish for peace.
