Been mulling this over trying to figure out what bothers me so much about this, besides the typical Leftist behavior to something they disagree with.

I'd be willing to bet my life's savings that the cake bakers who didn't want to bake a cake for a homosexual wedding were polite and respectful in their declination. Also, the bakery owners did not refuse the homosexual couple service for any other product in the bakery's capacity. And at no time did the bakers say they were offended (which was the only reason coffee dude used as an excuse to kick people out), only that making a product for such a event was against their religious principles.

The homosexual couple directly brought their issue to the attention of the bakery owners - which of course they would have to do to get a cake. The religious group in the coffe shop did nothing of the sort. They did not ask the owner to do anything against his beliefs, nor did they cause any issue with anyone else in the shop. The shop owner somehow got wind of who they were and what they were about and went out of his way to manufacture a confrontation. Then, instead of a polite refusal of a particular and specific service (ala the bakery owners), he was rude and disrespectful in the extreme and denied the group any and all service.

And that's what's been rankling me. The two cases are polar opposites in almost every aspect yet, as is always the case, the Left is wilfully blind to the differences and the merits of the bakers' case vs. the hate and nonsensical nature of coffee guy.

Although I'm leery of the group that was kicked out of the shop, I'd like to see this brought to court for a full airing in order to highlight the hypocrisy of the Left.
