Thank you for the link, 229DAK! I hope the White Witch gets her political hiney handed to her by the Trump DOJ. Politicians seem to have forgotten that they work for us, not the other way around. — — — — — — — — — — — — God bless America.

Amoral politicians use democracy to destroy democracy, it’s easier than staging a coup and a lot less dangerous. It’s happened before and will happen again.

This just in... Spanberger signs gun bills, makes a proposed gun ban even harsher Assistant AG Harmeet Dhillon warned Virginia: Second Amendment 'shall not be infringed'

Gentlemen, and ladies, there are no surprises here. Spanberger is another Virginia politico who came from the liberal states of the Northeast, in her case, her roots are apparently in New Jersey. And like Democratic politicians elsewhere, she is working an agenda in support of the national Democratic Party. I doubt she really cares about her constituents and what they may want or support. What we are witnessing is a dismantling of what was once a very well-governed state in support of the Democratic Party effort to permanently turn purple and red states blue. From what I have read, what she has done with the end of the electoral vote is to prevent another close election like those of Bush and Trump.

There she goes yet again.. Throwing out that she was a Federal Agent and carried a firearm. Well, then she should know that most of the deaths in America are not caused by the honest law biding citizen. I say she should know, but in reality, most of America should know that this statement is BS. But her voters don't want to hear that. I guess, it's not a good sound byte to say, most crimes are committed by useless toads.

Of course not. Who she's really working for is "The Party," the people who will pay her very well behind the scenes and make her famous, as they've done with other politicians before her. Guaranteed, she doesn't give two flying rats what We The People think.
She should, and actually might. But she'd never admit it, and it doesn't align with the narrative she and The Party want to promote. Politicians seem to have forgotten that they work for us, not the other way around. — — — — — — — — — — — — God bless America.

I have friends and customers that are local cops and VSP, none, as in not a single one of them, consider her LEO, past present or future, and all consider her bringing up she was a LEO a joke https://chandlersfirearms.com/chesterfield-armament/

Every time I get good news about school or a possible job in Virginia, it is torpedoed about an hour later by something this witch does or says. A friend wanted to know: So, does her VSP detail have to go to 10 rounds in their issued duty weapons. (Do they still carry the P229 in .357 or did they switch to the 320?) (I used to work alongside the detail way way back in the day when I worked for the Virginia Capitol Police)

^^^^^ Thank your friend, please, for asking the question I typed and then deleted. If we peons have to reduce capacity, then politicians' details should as well. (As should many others... Neither prudent nor necessary to go down that path right now.) Politicians seem to have forgotten that they work for us, not the other way around. — — — — — — — — — — — — God bless America.

The G-D Commies never slow down or pause in their efforts to completely try and fuck things up. . . "Virginia Joins ‘National Popular Vote’ Compact, Which Inches Closer to Effective Abolition of Electoral College." https://thenationalpulse.com/2...f-electoral-college/ Virginia’s decision to join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact marks a significant change in how the state could allocate its electoral votes in future presidential elections. WHAT HAPPENED: Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger signed a bill entering the state into the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, which ties the allocation of Virginia’s presidential electoral votes to the national popular vote winner once a sufficient number of states join the agreement. ETA - I cut'n pasted the full article but for some reason is not 'posting' in my reply. Sorry. __________ "I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy."

I’m having some trouble with the National Pulse link, Cookster, but here’s one from Time regarding the Compact. I’m not sure yet what to think of it, but if she’s behind it, I think it can’t be good for us. Thank you for the link vthoky, and there is a link to a Fox News article on this topic towards the top of the previous page (that I previously missed seeing). This Spanberger is quite the radical POS. __________ "I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy."

Most of this stuff will never stand up to SCOTUS. The dems don't care though. They throw a handful of shit at the wall. Most of it falls off or gets washed away, but some of it sticks. It's what they do. It's how they govern. ________________________________________________________ It is long past time for a Convention of States. Yes, I realize a lot of this is “see what sticks,” but it does sort of stink that: a) they do it, b) it has to be fought in court, and c) We The People ultimately are the ones who end up covering the costs of it. Today's FoxNews headlines: Economist warns thousands of Virginia jobs at risk after minimum wage hike signed by Spanberger
(More at the link above.) - - - - - And on the redistricting topic: Virginia congressman says Spanberger wants to 'turn us into New England'
- - - - - - - - If support for redrawing is only 5 points now, maybe there's hope for defeating the measure. Get out and vote (vote NO), Virginia members, and bring your friends and family with you. - - - - - - - - Further on the redistricting thing: there ought to be a rule against writing misleading ballot questions. Questions should be written clearly and without bias. Here's the question on Virginia's ballot: "Should the Constitution of Virginia be amended to allow the General Assembly to temporarily adopt new congressional districts to restore fairness in the upcoming elections, while ensuring Virginia's standard redistricting process resumes for all future redistricting after the 2030 census?" That's right: "should we restore fairness?" is the question. Everybody wants fair, right? Clearly, that's written to entice people to vote "yes," when exactly the opposite will happen if the measure passes. The summary, from Ballotpedia:
Politicians seem to have forgotten that they work for us, not the other way around. — — — — — — — — — — — — God bless America.

I can't confirm this, but if accurate, it is repugnant! Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger just signed a law stripping tax-exempt status from the United Daughters of the Confederacy and other Confederate heritage groups. These organizations — including the Virginia Division of the UDC, Sons of Confederate Veterans, and related memorial societies — will now lose their property tax exemptions. _________________________
