Definitely immoral, some worse, like the kind of person who accidentally hits a pedestrian and speeds off to avoid getting caught. Or worse, since they promote and support home-grown political assassinations. Lover of the US Constitution Wile E. Coyote School of DIY Disaster

Virginia GOP leader blasts ‘power-hungry’ Jeffries as Dems mount ‘insane’ gambit to overpower high court Hakeem Jeffries reportedly discussed lowering justices' retirement age and re-trying the case before a new court FoxNews link
Hey, Hakeem, how 'bout you mind New York's business, and butt the heck out of Virginia's? Politicians seem to have forgotten that they work for us, not the other way around. — — — — — — — — — — — — God bless America.

I think it shows how scared they are of the VRA ruling from SCOTUS. Red states have historically used fair methods for the most part to create districts, leaving D holds in some bizarre idea that doing so was fair and balanced . No longer is that possible, the Blue states have for years/decades been gerrymandered into zero R districts, they don't give a rats patootie about anyone but themselves. And they are out of districts to gain except where they recently gained power, VA. They know if the blue states decided to redistrict, and are allowed to legally do it, then the D are done for quite a long time.

There's no honor between politicians! Human nature plus game theory results in victory to the most unscrupulous. Were there a practical way to create a fair standard for states to comply with in drawing congressional districts, I would be all for it. Honest competition would be good in politics. When a group decides that they are being intentionally kept out, they quit the system and try to find alternate pathways. If a large portion of the population decides they've been excluded from choosing elected officials, things could get ugly fast.

So the article quotes two mutts who has some of the worst crime in Virginia, let alone a sanctuary city. When I was working LE in Virginia, it was like pulling teeth to have any of those agencies (Fairfax, Manassas, etc...) help you or even look something up. Sen. Saddam Salim (D-Fairfax), chief patron of SB749, called the signing a "monumental victory for public safety in the Commonwealth of Virginia." “Weapons similar to those that I carried serving in combat zones have no place in our schools, in our churches, and on our streets. Virginians have been on the precipice of finally banning these dangerous weapons before - but this time, we have a Governor who has actually served in law enforcement and understands what it means to protect our neighborhoods," added Del. Dan Helmer (D-Fairfax), chief patron of the companion bill HB217. These two should spend more time worrying about the illegals, thugs, and oxygen thieves in their communities that are committing crimes over and over. Then go after the liberal judges who let them off the hook. So, it was okay for Del. Dan Helmer (D-Fairfax) to go to West Point on the honest tax payer's money, go to Iraq and AFG to defend those people's rights, but lets slap honest, law bidding, hard working citizen's in the face. Being an armor and intel officer, you think the crap heel would know better. Useless as a broken ramrod and wet toilet paper.

Add 2AF.... https://saf.org/ This is a suggestion to all VA gun owners, join one or more of these groups, if they can get an injunction many courts will rule it applies to all members of the class, which means you need to be a member of or or more of those groups.

From an e-mail I received from VCDL: VCDL/GOA “Assault Firearm” Ban Lawsuit Filed! The Governor and the gun-controllers in the General Assembly have made yet another misjudgment by coming after the rights of Virginian gun owners! The U.S. Supreme Court has already said that government can’t ban the most popular firearms in America, like the AR-15 and the AK-47. VCDL and GOA dropped our lawsuit against the “Assault Firearm” ban today in Virginia court. Other lawsuits from national organizations have dropped in federal court. And the U.S. Department of Justice has publicly said their lawsuit is also coming. Luckily, our opponent is “Attoney” General Jay Jones, who will probably file his defense in the wrong court in “Virgina.” Here is a link to the VCDL/GOA lawsuit: https://irp.cdn-website.com/e9...Lawsuit+as+filed.pdf _________________________________________________________________________ “A man’s treatment of a dog is no indication of the man’s nature, but his treatment of a cat is. That depends on how the term is meant. Politicians do things for political reasons and passing the bill gains them political points among their supporters regardless of whether it’s overturned by the courts. If it’s overturned they can say, “We tried, but the evil right-wing courts defied the will of the people, and that’s why something needs to be done about the courts’ power.” And if it’s not overturned, that can actually be less desirable for them because it’s more likely to wake up the ignorant apathetic segment of gun owners who are usually content to say, “Yeah, yeah, don’t worry; nothing’s going to happen.” ► 6.0/94.0 “I can’t give you brains, but I can give you a diploma.” — The Wizard of Oz

US Supreme Court denies Virginia Democrats' redistricting appeal https://justthenews.com/govern..._campaign=newsletter The U.S. Supreme Court on Friday rejected Virginia Democrats' appeal regarding its redistricting map, which voters narrowly approved in a referendum last month. Virginia Democrats filed an emergency appeal Monday after the Virginia Supreme Court struck down the state's redistricting referendum last week, ruling that the legislative process in which the referendum was created was unconstitutional. The high court did not give a reason for the rejection, but the request for a stay was presented to Chief Justice John Roberts. The Democrats urged the high court to take up its appeal because it revolves around what they claim is a question of federal law — the definition of “Election Day," even though the state constitution is usually left to the state Supreme Court. Other states are also entering the redistricting fight after the Supreme Court ruled last month that Louisiana's second majority-black congressional district relied too heavily on race and was therefore an unconstitutional gerrymander. Georgia and South Carolina this week called for special sessions of their state legislatures to discuss new congressional maps, though Georgia's maps would not take effect until the 2028 presidential election. _________________________

My county is about to get a new sheriff. I hope the new owe has the same 2A attitude as our previous one, and I'm sad to see our previous sheriff go. (But good for him, he's retiring.) A friend who's way far out on the left is realizing her support of the DNC, the VA Dems and specifically the LCDC (where she served as VP) is at odds with her efforts. Notably, Spanberger's recent veto of the collective bargaining legislation. It's a bit of schadenfreude but I shall not rub it in; she's beginning to realize what I've been saying all these years. It's about control, not about dogma with Dems.
