Didn't Mr. Snipes end up in jail for a piece? Just saying. ----------------------------- Guns are awesome because they shoot solid lead freedom. Every man should have several guns. And several dogs, because a man with a cat is a woman. Kurt Schlichter

Five years for tax evasion, yep. IIRC the IRS just turned down a six-digit offer from him (beginning with "1") on a multi-million debt.

Brenda Snipes makes $178,865 a year Snipes: "But it is time to move on … I think I have served the purpose that I came here for, which was to provide a credible election product for our members.”… Asked specifically whether she would run for re-election in 2020, Snipes responded, “I haven’t finalized that. I’ll just check with my family they’ll tell me what I’m doing.” https://hotair.com/archives/20...da-snipes-time-move/

Oh, there is plenty of fraud going on in Broward and Palm Beach counties; I just don't think that these boxes being left wherever were part of it. The boxes came to the polling place sealed and contained provisional ballots. Some of the ballots were used and some were left over. The ones that were used were sealed in color-coded envelopes and transported to the election office when the poll closed. After the polls closed, the blank ones left over are worthless. Workers used the boxes to pack up. Careless to lose the boxes, but not evidence of fraud. It wouldn't make sense to commit widespread fraud at hundreds of polling places. Too many people in the loop. I think most fraud occurred at headquarters with absentee ballots. Many were mailed to people who requested them. But I believe thousands more are fraudulent and were NOT mailed to anyone. Snipes refusal to disclose the number of absentee ballots outstanding is very suspicious. And Nelson pleading to let thousands of absentee ballots that arrived late to be counted? Blame it on the postal service? Really? This message has been edited. Last edited by: cne32507,

https://www.apnews.com/d6b65f4...w&utm_source=Twitter FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) — The Latest on Florida’s election recount (all times local): 7:15 a.m. The Palm Beach County elections supervisor says aging equipment has overheated, causing mismatched results in the recount of ballots in Florida’s U.S. Senate race. Susan Bucher said Tuesday night that the 11-year-old machines began having problems on Monday as early voting ballots were being counted. When the numbers were crunched on Tuesday, they didn’t match. WPTV says a mechanic was flown in to fix the issues, but Bucher says “we don’t have a lot of assurances.” She says the machines “started overheating so as a result the tally types are not reconciling properly.” That means about 174,000 early voting ballots in the state’s third most populous county will have to be recounted. Workers are working around the clock to count the vote, but Bucher has already said they will not meet the state’s Thursday deadline to report the recounted votes. Nearly 600,000 ballots were cast in the county. ___ 12:23 a.m. Florida’s ongoing recount battle will head back to a courtroom on Wednesday as lawyers for Democrats ask a federal judge to set aside the state law that mandates that a vote be thrown out if signatures on mail ballot envelopes don’t match the signature on file with election authorities.

https://www.palmbeachpost.com/...d-by-federal-lawsuit A Palm Beach County legislative candidate on Tuesday won and then quickly lost the first round of his legal battle to extend the deadline for election recounts to be completed as growing political heat generated lawsuits in federal and state courts in Tallahassee. Ruling on a lawsuit filed by Democratic Florida House District 89 candidate Jim Bonfiglio, who is trailing by 37 votes in his race against Republican Mike Caruso, a Leon County judge ordered that Palm Beach County elections officials be given until Nov. 27 to complete their recounts. However, Judge Karen Gievers’ decision to lift Thursday’s 3 p.m. deadline in Palm Beach County was trumped when Florida Secretary of State Ken Detzner petitioned to move the case to federal court. “We’re now in federal court territory, said Marisol Samayoa, a spokeswoman for the campaign arm of the Florida Democratic Party. A federal judge in Tallahassee, who is hearing other challenges associated with the statewide recount, gave all sides until 5 p.m. Wednesday to explain why the county’s deadline should or shouldn’t be extended .

yes, its Wikipedia, but still, Some historical perspective: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/...n_recount_in_Florida 'The Florida election recount of 2000 was a period of vote recounting in Florida that occurred during the weeks after Election Day in the 2000 United States presidential election between George W. Bush and Al Gore. The Florida vote was ultimately settled in Bush's favor by a margin of 537 votes when the U.S. Supreme Court, in Bush v. Gore, stopped a recount that had been initiated upon a ruling by the Florida Supreme Court. That in turn gave Bush a majority of votes in the Electoral College and victory in the presidential election.[1] " 1 Background 2 Recount 2.1 Controversial issues 2.2 Palm Beach County's butterfly ballots 2.3 Influential Decisions 2.3.1 Florida Supreme Court appeals 2.3.2 U.S. Supreme Court proceedings 2.3.3 Florida counties' recount decisions 3 Post-election studies 3.1 Florida Ballot Project recounts 3.2 Media recounts 3.3 County-by-county standards for write-in overvotes in 2000 3.4 Opinion polling on recount 4 HBO film 5 See also 6 References 7 External links 7.1 Archives ____________________

FYI: Florida vote by mail rules These are the rules in the Florida Division of Elections website. For the rules to work, the county supervisor of elections must be honest. This is not the case in Broward county.

We had damned well better be concerned. This has major impact potential for 2020: Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) says that Democrats are “stress-testing the integrity of our election system” to build a “road-map on how to steal the election from Donald Trump in 2020,” offering his remarks on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily. Gaetz discussed ostensible vote recount efforts in Florida: “The law requires certain reporting and transparency to occur regarding who voted, when they voted, and by what means they voted. That transparency isn’t just to make us feel better, it’s the kryptonite to fraud, because if we know how people are voting you’re able to triangulate against any of the fraudsters that would cast the illegal ballots.” Gatez remarked, “Brenda Snipes has just decided there are certain things she’s not going to tell us and wasn’t going to tell us. So we had to go to court, and the courts ruled that the supervisor of elections violated the Florida Constitution by standing in the way of public access. What’s most concerning is that between election day and now, over 80,000 ballots have just been like spoken into existence. They weren’t acknowledged to even exist on election night, and then lo and behold, the Democrats needed more votes to close gaps, and more ballots continued to be found. Gaetz joked, “Hell, I still think they’re finding votes of Al Gore down in Broward County.” Gaetz stated, “In a lot of our Republican counties, we play it by the books. Our supervisors of elections don’t cut corners. They follow the law. So in a recount, you often don’t get a whole lot of new votes from Republican areas. It’s in the Democrat areas where all of a sudden there are mystery boxes of ballots and votes that are counted.” Gaetz said Democrats are building a “road map” to “steal” 2020’s president election . “What should concern all Americans is that we’ve got like 80,000 ballots that have no chain of custody, no real record of how they were voted or where they came from, and my concern is, while I think Ron DeSantis and Rick Scott are outside the margin of fraud, if the Democrats are able to learn now what techniques work and don’t work, what transparency laws are going to be followed and which ones aren’t, then it gives them a road-map on how to steal the election from Donald Trump in 2020,” warned Gaetz. “I really think that’s what this is about. The resistance movement has changed from yelling at town halls and yelling in restaurants to now, potentially, trying to steal elections that they can’t win at the ballot box.” Gaetz added, “Donald Trump has proven what the winning coalition is. He’s going to knock down about 90 percent of the Republican vote, and then he’s going to really drive up turnout among independents and some Democrats in areas where he’s popular. … If they’re able to slice down our margins in the high turnout Republican areas, it really collapses the Trump coalition.” Gaetz continued, “I think what they’re doing is testing what they can get away with. … My concern is that those tactics are being developed. … The Democratic Party in Florida is already doing training to perfect ballots, and they put out the number that [they need], three ballots per precinct, to beat Rick Scott. The goal here is not to count every vote [or] make sure everyone’s voice is heard. The goal for the Democrats is to win the election. So they are training their operatives how to interpret a stray mark, or an x, or a bubble, so that they can flip votes after the election’s over.” Gaetz concluded, “This is about stress-testing the integrity of our election system.” “The new conservative movement has to take on Trump’s sense of boldness,” advised Gaetz. “If we allow Democrats to continue this behavior, they’re not going to get better [or] treat us better or follow the rules more. We’ve got to take the gloves off and fight like they do.” https://www.breitbart.com/poli...-with-to-steal-2020/ "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown "The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth." -rduckwor

In a sense. People from the tri-state area have been retiring to Florida for so long that voters cultivated, recruited and retained by Schumer and his buddies wind up getting passed on to Florida Dems eventually - thus feeding the Dem caucuses in federal elective offices that make Schumer either powerful or potentially powerful. All of which jibes neatly with what chellim1 posted just above - this is a national effort to develop Dem power at the federal level, and you can bet the DNC as a whole is watching (not to mention funding and directly participating in) the "road map development" going on in Florida with an eye towards being able to steal the Presidency in 2020.

At which point the argument is that it's suppressing fraudulent votes - and suppressing election fraud will be an easy argument to make.
