Years ago a friend was getting married and us guys spent all night in a strip club... what I realized was:

Once you've seen one naked woman....

you've seen just one naked woman....

It was SO stupid from the beginning. Because 95% of their customer base already didn't look like supermodels. They were selling an image, selling an idea. You can sell the plus sizes, but you can't throw away the "image" they're aspiring for, any idiot should know this. But these are special extra-strength idiots.

Good to see they are feeling the 'morning after' overdoing it on the wokeness.

My wife says their quality plummeted years ago. Sounds like that's what they need to fix.

Yep! Just as I figured. It's going to take a while to recover from that. Just ask Bud Light!

Curious - what brand sold in place of VS?

Looking forward to the December runway show then. Finally it’ll return. Enough of the stupid shit. VS has had some of the hottest women I’ve ever seen over the years.

Who would have thunk???

I don't really think men are the target demographics of VS. What makes women buy VS is the same reason why men buy particular golf shirts; they want to buy something that they can wear and identify with their favorite golfer idol.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Maybe, maybe not. When you're a guy with a gal who can and does wear VS clothing rather well, gift certificate charges just seem to pop up right and left on said guy's credit cards.

Money well spent.

A) I’m sure we will all buy our wife/SO anything “sexy” she wants. (If we can afford it.)

B) Miami is a sea of young, beautiful women looking for surprisingly modest means.

I’m not saying every man will turn them down, but…. Well, OK I do have a lot of divorced friends with “20 something” “girlfriends” who gripe about the shopping bills… Big Grin

But the ones who keep the first wife are usually doing better, financially.
