Welcome to the real world, shnookums. Forty. Years. MINIMUM. You will be at this daily grind for a minimum of forty years. That's, like, longer than you've been alive!! OMG IKR!!

Work doesn't interfere with your life, child. Work IS your life.

General mindset of the privileged generation. Didn't have to work in HS because Daddy paid for it all. Didn't have to work in college because Daddy paid for it all.

Now they're finding out that work sucks and is hard with no work ethic or understanding that companies demand not just 9-5, but more like 8 to 6. Then you get to come home, make dinner, clean the house, and catch up on the work you didn't get done.

Bart: Alright, we'll settle this like men, with our fists.
Hedley Lamarr: Sorry, I just remembered . . . I am armed.

I saw this.
I'm thankful that I don't have the mindset this young lady has. I'm a genx and I grew up with parents that knew hard times and grandparents that knew really hard times. I live a lavish life compared to most of the world.
This young girl is failing to realize that as an employed American with a degree, she is better off than 99% of the world. I hope she realizes the blessings she has sooner rather than later.

I highly doubt she'll have to "work" for too long. Some rich older guy will scoop her right up and she'll be a stay-at-home baby machine before she knows it...

Or she'll just start an Onlyf@ns page and make $300k/year showing off her other assets.

She's just got to play her cards right!

I lasted on Reddit for about a year.

During that time I was part of a subreddit called AntiWork just for the sheer fun of it. This bimbo is one of thousands on that sub who think this way, it's absolutely hilarious yet frightening too.

There was an actual discussion by these rocket scientists on there that they should be PAID to drive to and from work every day and their pay should start not the second they clock in for the day, oh no. They wanted to start being paid the minute they woke up and rolled their clueless entitled little asses out of bed!

Somehow I expect she has other "skills" where she can stay in bed for fewer hours and still pull down a good income!

When do I go on dates? Weekends.

When do I have time to exercise? Wake up at 5:30am.

No time to prepare dinner? Uh, yeah you do. What else do you do between 6:30pm to 10:00pm?

I have to commute. Yeah, everyone did until 3 years ago and likely will return to several days in the office. Get over it.

It's pitch black when I come home....Yeah, take that up with the Big Guy. Excuse me, Mother Earth and the rotation of the planet in relation to the sun.

Let's hope she grows up quickly.

Aw, poor fragile, widdle child.

I worked for 52 years with a 45 minute commute each way for 45 of those years, raised three kids, did yard work and all the other things required in life and I still had time to do fun things. If this is typical of today's youth, we've in trouble.

Or, weekends. Cook your meals for the week and eat leftovers. Oh, the horror.

For years Feminism taught that men were privileged. Now they have gained the same life as men, and they hate it. What she needs is a spouse who hands her a list of demands at six every night because she’s been away at work all day.

You wanted the job, now you’ve got the job. Suck it up and do it. You wanted to be a man, so be the man. Suck it up.

I am glad you posted this. My adult children are responsible adults with a family. This provides some perspective.

Apparently, a college education doesn't give you the common sense not to post crap like this online. HR folks are looking for this nonsense.

Ms. TikScholk is more of a drama queen, but is cut from similar cloth as a new hire our company suffered through last year. She didn't last long at our organization in greater scheme of things, but her time of employment was unpleasant for many of us.

Work is so stressful. Tasks must be accomplished...and on time.
I don't have any free time.
Why can't I always do the things I want to do.
This coming to the office thingie is challenging. I, like, have to get dressed and everything.

The words "like" and "literally" seem to be included in "like literally" every sentence. The little quirks of the veteran employees become less and less annoying with each new 20-something hire.
