Congratulations Officer Goodson, enjoy your freedom and sue Mosby!

Thank you judge Williams, after your rulings on immunized testimony and failing to dismiss charges earlier, I was worried about you, but you have done your duty.

Suck it, Mosby! Burn in hell.

Good thing the courts reflect the rule of law, not the will of the people huh? But Mosby does not want to hear that.

I know he is just "doing his job" but I have to laud him for standing up to the incredible pressure he had to be under to enforce mob rule.

Although acquitted in state court, I wouldn't hold my breath that Barry didn't have the AG file Federal Civil Rights charges. They did it against the cops in the Rodney King fiasco.

I don't think this will happen, especially if there is any kind of trail leading back to the city government ordering more high profile patrols in the high crime areas as reported early on.

Congrats officer Goodson, and I hope all the lawsuits against Mosby and her cronies bear fruit.

Yeah that wont matter, they'll still do it. They'll announce a federal probe, it'll drag on for a year or so in obscurity, and it'll quietly die on the vine with some stupid press release after all the commotion has died down...

And as my trial lawyer son-in-law reminds me, justice is a process, not necessarily an end result.

I wonder, how many times does Mosby have to get beat up (judicially) before she realizes she is a major league embarrassment to her profession?

The only reason she holds this position in her profession is due to the color of her skin, not the content of her brain. So, probably a few more times. But even then it won't sink in...

Curious you mention that. Their Patron Saint, Martin Luther King, said he wanted people judged by their character, not their skin. Yet in MLK's name his alleged followers are doing exactly the opposite of what he stood for.

IMNSHO, none of those charges should have been filed. It has been established (I think) that there were no violations of EXISTING procedures in transporting Mr. Gray, and therefore there is no justification for filing charges. I believe it has been established that better standards were probably needed, and some adjustments have been made as a result, but to prosecute in this case was dumb.

Here is a link to Judge Williams' Ruling (pdf)

He addresses each count.

The ruling reflects a thoughtful and serious look at the charges and the evidence.

Well done Judge Williams.

Again, kudos to judge Williams for following the rule of law in another ruling. He should be further commended for his continuously challenging the states position which was based not in fact, but in the emotional belief that any of the officers were liable.

The remaining officers would likewise be wise in choosing a decision made by the judge over that of a jury. Clearly, the evidence to convict anyone is just not there.

The unjust prosecution of these Officers has resulted in the deaths of many citizens of Baltimore, and will continue to haunt this city for many years to come. The Police officers know no one has their backs, and even though the court system worked this time, who wants to be drug down the same path.

An unqualified woman with an agenda! That's the most scary part. Unqualified, there is ways around that if she is amenable to assistance. The agenda part knows no bounds and could damage a lot of people, as it already has.
