Summit County is now a mail-in ballot. Are any other Utah counties mail-in? I hate it. What about those who mailed in their ballots today? Shouldn't they be counted before a winner is declared? Can you actually walk in, show your ID, and cast a vote on a machine like we did before they started the mail-in ballot? I would've went in person today as well if I were not on the east coast at the moment. I never imagined I'd ever again have to cast a vote for Romney after his pathetic performance in 2012. Looks like I was wrong, cause there is no way I'm not voting in this upcoming midterm elections, and there is no way I'm taking a chance by not voting for the Republican nominee. Yes, you can vote in person with the same machines as before. Vote.utah.gov select early voting, select your County for locations. | |||

Excellent. We've only had two elections so far since they started the mail-in ballot in Summit County, and both times I've been away for work so it's worked out in my benefit. This November though I should be home. I voted in a senior center. Folks were learning to square dance in the same room, but there was no line.  I believe they only do it within a week of election day. | |||

The primaries are about organization. Nobody is paying attention during the primaries. Romney knows all he has to do is organize a turnout. In Utah Federal elections are won in the primary since the bulk of the population will not vote for a lefty Dem. That is how Harch stayed in power for so long. Anyone who thinks NJ is the only State which makes poor choices in elections isn't paying attention. I keep voting, but poor choices seem to carry the day around here more often than not. I'm with Darth, gw3971, and others: I just don't get it. | |||
