For whatever reason you have got butt hurt. Sorry about that. As best as i can recall I have never disrespected you personally here.

I don't need to go look at past threads, this is not our first, second, nor third go around.
You must not remember jumping my ass on the advice I posted in a thread you started.
It ended with me telling you "trust me, it won't happen again". And if you check, I haven't posted in one of your threads since.

What's funny is pointing out misinformation is encouraged in all other parts of the forum. However when it comes to mechanical threads, the misinformed, misdirected and uneducated get their panties in a bunch. Then start telling professionals to calm down, that they are butthurt, or that they are a know-it-all or their feelings got hurt... it's like having a conversation with a Liberal/Democrat.

Then there's the occasional poster who argues with the very people whom you say you respect, merely because they find and post an article or document they found online. As if there's never been something printed/posted which was incorrect or misleading.

Since you brought up things getting old... it's exhausting to come in here and debunk the misinformation and myths which a certain group of misfits continually post. It's different when it's someone's experience, but damn man, you don't even have air conditioning or a heat pump for that matter. So I don't understand your position to be first to post on the subject vs sitting back and learning something.

Well, I guess I better go take some blood pressure meds so I can "calm down".

How long ago was that? Heat pumps have improved, big time.

So true. I happens over and over and over. It gets to the point where somebody who actually knows what he's talking about, doesn't even bother to post because of the bullshit, hogwash, and horse hockey that is sure to follow.

Pyker let us know what you end up doing. I am sure whatever you end up with will work out great.
Sorry about some of the discussion that did not pertain directly to your op. My apologies.

I think you may have me confused with another member. Honestly, I do not recall us getting into it. Not to a degree you are suggesting and for sure not multiple times.

Page two of the below thread... this was the moment which finally brought things to an end. As I had enough of your BS.

Seems my memory is doing quite well... afterall.

Now, how do you plan to spin this one... ?

I live in Kentucky. The heat pump I just recently switched too barely keeeps up on cold winter nights. It runs near constantly. The AC is fine. I should probably add some insulation to attic. It’s old and settled in thickness.

Let's cease the bickering, please. It distracts from threads, especially informational threads such as this.

State your case and let facts and experience do the talking for you.

I hate the summer with a passion. AC problems are a real PIA when it's blazing hot. Help, or be still, one or the other.

Sorry Para,

I too hate summer with a passion. The older I get the more I want real AC. I am hoping the hvac has a good solution this week. As I said in the other thread. He has been great and he told me the other day what he thinks will work best for us. I just need the number and see if there are any big issues with the design or our place that will make it problematic. Fingers crossed.

As I said, Pyker I hope you get a great system upgrade.
