For whatever reason you have got butt hurt. Sorry about that. As best as i can recall I have never disrespected you personally here.
I don't need to go look at past threads, this is not our first, second, nor third go around.
You must not remember jumping my ass on the advice I posted in a thread you started.
It ended with me telling you "trust me, it won't happen again". And if you check, I haven't posted in one of your threads since.
What's funny is pointing out misinformation is encouraged in all other parts of the forum. However when it comes to mechanical threads, the misinformed, misdirected and uneducated get their panties in a bunch. Then start telling professionals to calm down, that they are butthurt, or that they are a know-it-all or their feelings got hurt... it's like having a conversation with a Liberal/Democrat.
Then there's the occasional poster who argues with the very people whom you say you respect, merely because they find and post an article or document they found online. As if there's never been something printed/posted which was incorrect or misleading.
Since you brought up things getting old... it's exhausting to come in here and debunk the misinformation and myths which a certain group of misfits continually post. It's different when it's someone's experience, but damn man, you don't even have air conditioning or a heat pump for that matter. So I don't understand your position to be first to post on the subject vs sitting back and learning something.
Well, I guess I better go take some blood pressure meds so I can "calm down".
