Pretty much.

1. She's not that cute, but then I've never gone for Asians.

2. People really needn't get their panties in a wad over this. Really.

3. If it were that big of an issue, don't you think the Apples and Samsungs of the world would design a camera that would film widescreen regardless of the way you hold your phone?

4. Why does everyone feel the need to take pictures or videos of every single thing they see these days? We have these things called brains, and our brains are capable of storing things called memories. It's amazing, but it really works!

Ouch!

I'd bet someone else sang it, and she lip-sync'd.

Someone put some time into this. Good job!

How about actually cropping your pictures instead of including all kinds of useless background.

1. Not sure why this is even relevant.

2. If people didn't cared about anything, we wouldn't have nice things. Too many are content with "good enough" and too few strive for perfection. When it comes to vertically filmed videos, it's a widely known annoyance that is so easy to fix it's a no brainer. It's like bad grammar, it's not hurting anyone and you still get the point across, but why not do better if you can.

3. Actually I think that would be a great idea if they can make it work like that without quality loss. Clearly the software is capable because the phone already adjust the picture based on the orientation, but I have a feeling it has to do with the CMOS hardware that is fixed in a certain orientation in the phone that limits this.

Imagine if you're trying to draw on a 8.5x11 piece of paper, a normal person would turn the paper sideways if he/she wants to draw a landscape picture. If you insist on doing it with the paper in the portrait position, then you'll find that you are only capable of using about half of the paper while maintaining the proper ratio.

Whatever you have to crop away is just wasted estate thrown away that could've been used to create your work, resulting in reduced overall quality.

4. Because your brain isn't very good at visualizing things to other people, the contents get distorted/fuzzy over time, and lost when you go.

You can always tell a rookie by the way he records with his phone. Landscape is the way a boss records.
