So it was a squib. Looking back, I do remember hearing a distinctly different sound when my son was shooting it, but it was an active range and the other rounds being fired masked it. Next round pushed the bullet out but damaged the barrel.

| Sorry, I usually put updates in the original post because the "end" changes quickly when people start commenting. Either way, a Glock factory barrel is freaking EXPENSIVE these days!
Knowing what one is talking about is widely admired but not strictly required here.
Although sometimes distracting, there is often a certain entertainment value to this easy standard. -JALLEN
