Looking good.

She refers to the set-to we had from 1861 to 1865 as "The War for Southern Independence." Smile

Yeah, it's as if these bureaucrats think that the police and the national guard are robots stored in crates, and they function only when needed; that they aren't citizens with families; that they are not themselves gun owners and have no friends, especially no friends who are gunowners.

My feeling has been that I would be in the ground before the fight began in earnest, but, now, I'm not so sure. I am not so sure. Things are moving quickly, and some people are going to have to be taught a lesson, and in the only way they can understand and it will be costly, and it may be the spark which I thought would occur a decade or more from now.

As Americans, we have no obligation to follow bad laws, and if the populace refuses to comply with bad laws, these laws must be enforced, and therein lies the problem for those who seek to oppress us and deny us our rights.

Earlier there was mention of "what has the Republican party of Virginia done recently?" I've wondered the same thing, and decided to look up the RPV and see what I can learn.

Learned so far:
- The web site is www.rpv.org
- Phone: 804 780 0111.
- Everytown dropped $438K on the Democrats for toeing the line.

These findings don't answer the question, "what's the Republican party of Virginia done for us lately?"

I still say it's time to light a fire under 'em.

God bless America.

para,

I was just thinking something similar tonight.

It is hard to explain but I have developed this feeling to be glad to be in Virginia.

We are pushing for a showdown and I like being a part of it.

That is 1000% exactly what they think. They look down on police and guardsmen (military in general).

If and when push comes to shove they are going to be in for a surprise. Just shows how disconnected from reality that they truly are and have been for a long time now.

This is something that we need to get a handle on. The left is funneling a ton of cash into states to flip elections, all the while accusing the NRA of buying elections.

I’ve noticed a ton of no name “Family Values” type lefty PACs that have popped up in local elections. This is how the left if funneling so much more money in to attempt to buy elections at all levels without violating campaign finance laws. Basically, they are shell PACs.

Rather than being under the ground, my first take was that you were going to be "on the ground" when the fight began in earnest. I was like - Wahoo, Para is going to John Conner this thing!

It's as though not a single one of these democrat assclowns in Virginia has ever heard of Marbury v Madison.

The hypocrisy is mind boggling. Obviously they weren't paying any attention to, nor do they have any respect for their Oaths of office.

I would like to think so, as we have LEO refusing to enforce gun laws out here as well. It’s hard to forget the cop pushing over an old lady to steal her firearm after Katrina. Enforcement will probably follow an urban/rural divide, much like support for these infringements. Cities are quickly becoming a 1984 style of hell.

Listen to me carefuly- if ever there was a thread in this forum where you need to keep your cop-hating attitude to yourself, this is it. I don't want to see another word of this stuff from you in this thread and there's going to be no discussion about what you did or did not mean by your remark.

The anti gun/sanctuary movement has taken to arguing that localities, sheriffs and individuals can’t decide the constitutionality of a law. They say we have to wait for the courts to rule and until they do we have to comply. I asked a woman, “So a law is passed prohibiting women from speaking publicly and only allows women to vote as directed by her husband. Do we wait for the courts or do we disobey such flagrant disregard for women’s rights?” Silence for a moment then, “But this is different. :eyeroll:
