On June 22, Atlantic City police responded to a hit-and-run crash that resulted in injuries when a man identified as 32-year-old Timothy Deal, who wasn’t involved in the crash, approached police, NBC Philadelphia reported.
The video shows officers telling Deal to drop the knife. The suspect then lunges at an officer with the knife before getting shot.
So assailant calmly walks up to 3 cops who were working a hit and run auto accident, and attacks them with a knife. Lucky the one officer was watching the assailant. Maintain your situational awareness and be safe.

Yup, but thousands more in AC just like Him.... This cat wasn't involved in the incident, just walked up and pulled a blade. He clearly didn't;t get the gun vs knife fight message. These inner city people are just cross wired in their brain.

Yeah. That was weird. 7 bullets by my count. I guess it makes sense, but handcuffing a guy shot multiple times at point-blank range always seems wrong.

I don't care how many times a perp has been shot, it's either cuffs or plug him in the head... and I imagine a coup de grace would be frowned upon by the department.

Suspect was still alive and non-compliant, ergo, still a threat to officers unless proven otherwise.
