I am writing this with a heavy heart. My son passed away Sunday early morning. I only had almost 22 years with him and I am grateful to the Good Lord I had that. Everything was looking good for him-he followed in my footsteps in the fire dept., was getting released soon as a primary medic, and he loved his job and the people he worked with and he loved the Lord. As we are overwhelmed with grief, I prayed to the Good Shepherd for comfort. Being we are always wanting a sign, I was no different. I prayed to the Lord He would send me a sign he was with the Heavenly Prince of Peace. I opened my Bible to John 4:50. It was a nobleman who wanted help from Jesus to save his son. The first thing I read in the Good Book, was in verse 50,Jesus said," Go your son lives". I was overwhelmed with peace and sadness. I thank the Good Lord everyday and pray for His will to be done. As in the book of Job, " the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away, BLESSED BE THE NAME OF THE LORD". I can't thank Jesus enough for allowing the time I had. I beg of you all, turn to the Jesus for salvation as HE is the only way to the Father. I love and pray for you all, God bless.This message has been edited. Last edited by: patw, | ||

On June 15th it will be 54 years since my father took his life. It is extremely difficult to deal with such a situation. I remember staring at my father and the fireman took me away to another room. I cannot now nor ever understand why. You have my most sincere prayers. | |||
