I was merely pointing out that it is nothing more than a business decision and a feeble one at that.
Why is it feeble to you?
Because it is obvious that they are pandering. Like so many others who are trying to make money off of veterans and veteran causes. While their stated goal might be something that is admirable, you have to know that the only reason they are doing it is the dollar. This has little if anything to do with honoring veterans. It's all about one-upping Home Depot.
I can't believe that 20+ years of all veterans all the time hasn't worn thin on more of you. The vast majority of businesses spouting off about veterans don't give two shits about veterans.
If Lowes wants to do something for veterans, how's about they donate to mental health services for combat veterans to stop suicides related to PTSD or help homeless veterans find a warm place to live? That would mean a whole lot more than a few parking spots in front of their store in Kalispell, MT.

You almost seem jealous or bitter that this is being done.
Not jealous or bitter as I could take advantage of it if I wanted to. I don't.
I'm just tired of the pandering and the using of veterans for the dollar. If they were honest, they'd put their money where their mouth is.
ETA: And my apologies...I didn't mean to shit on your thread. It just struck a nerve that has been irritated for awhile.
