If Democratic leaders were afraid this would devolve into a horror show they got their wish, ten times over.

I can't imagine any normal, main stream, moderate or even borderline liberal could look at these 10 people and want any one of them as a President.

They should give in now...... no? won't do it?....... fine, continue then and show the world how truly insane you people are.

If she were to be nominated as the Dem candidate, the RNC would play videos of her nonstop, of her constantly interrupting witnesses in Congressional hearings and showing her horrible behavior. She would be a candidate about as popular as Hillary Clinton, but she's an even bigger bitch that Clinton.

Agreed. I didn't watch any of that crap last night but I have seen clips. Check out this bizarre clip of Harris. The question is that Biden has said that her claim that she would ban 'assault weapons' by executive order on day one would be unconstitutional. She starts laughing...It's just....Weird. She sounds and acts either drunk or high. Video at the link.

I'm not saying that they will, but they are already running at 110% of full throttle with the insane rhetoric. They can either continue with the incessant reeeeee (which they will find most unsatisfactory), or they can start breaking and burning shit.

This writer of this article has an opinion of what may happen with a Trump victory.

"Those on the left will not allow a Trump victory, even should he win the popular vote and the Electoral College. They are used to getting what they want and like spoiled brats, have learned that tantrums work.

Should Donald Trump prevail in his bid for a second term, the left will go insane, deploying every “insurance policy” weapon at their disposal to negate four more years of the Orange Man. What Obama, Comey, and Brennan et al. did to Trump in his first term will seem mild in comparison to what the left is planning should he win.

Antifa, the military arm of the Democratic Party, has not spent the last three years practicing and organizing merely to sit on the sidelines. They have used the interregnum to mobilize and learn tactics, while probing to find what government will allow, media will trumpet, and the public will endure.

The skirling “resistance” has morphed from pajama-boy blobs of perpetually offended little dictators and pussy-hat sporting shriekers into balaclava-wearing avengers who crave the opportunity to put deplorables in their place and give them the government they deserve good and hard. They will flood the streets after a Trump victory in their Antifa costumes looking to bust the heads of anyone near enough to become part of their 15 minutes of YouTube fame.

It will start in the cities -- the Democrat-run cities, of course -- where the political leadership will provide them a measure of protection against identification and arrest. Seattle, Portland, LA, San Francisco, NYC, Chicago, Atlanta, Boston, and Baltimore, among others, will become flashpoints of unrest.

The riots will be portrayed by the media and the Democrats as a groundswell of support for deposing a racist president."

On the subject of confiscation masquerading as "gun buybacks", I'll just say that the left simply has no concept of the scope of such an endeavor nor the disastrous results of any actual attempts at confiscation. Ask yourself- how would you respond to such a thing? Any such attempts would result in tragedy and would be an upheaval in the free states of this nation, the likes of which no American living has seen within our borders.

Police, knocking on doors, demanding your firearms, after you don't respond to phony "buy-backs"? The results would be sad and tragic, and on a grand scale.

The previous link above also lays out a scenario for a Democrat win in 2020. Can't say I disagree with much of it.

2020 is going to be an interesting year for the U.S.

I recall a novel or novel series being discussed here some time ago about an America where this happens and the accounts in the novel were that after numerous police units go into towns across the country to do this and don't come back out alive, that most just start simply refusing the order to confiscate by force.

Does anyone remember this novel?

And back to the debate, did anyone find it odd that for a long chunk of it, it seemed like ABC was ignoring Warren to concentrate on Biden?

I watched her and it seemed like she was on something or had a few cocktails just before the debate; she was not NOT acting normal. At all.

Ms. Harris would rue the day that the Constitution was suspended. She should think on this, long and hard. Suspending the Constitution would compromise the safety of all politicians, especially the unpopular ones, and that's putting it very mildly.

Typical leftist empty sloganism and disdain for the foundational document of our republic. Vile twat. He who laughs last...

If you do not accept the Constitution of the United States in its entirety and without fallacious interpretation, you're not an American. You may be a citizen, but you are not and cannot be an American.

And, the uncomfortable laughter and giggling from this POS? She did the same thing when Gabbard busted her in one of the previous debates. It's what she does when she gets busted in front of a crowd and she's got nothin'. Hence the meaningless slogan "Let's say yes instead of no." You empty-headed harpy. Get off of my planet.

Didn't somebody write a fiction book about that? Like, some time in the last 20 years or so? It was only in print for a few years, but so many cops cops came to the author and said something like "look, I like your book, but some politician is going to take this personally and make you disappear" and so it went out of print and can be had for only hundreds of dollars online? Something about a guy who saw the things coming down the pike before they happened and then did something about it? Can't remember the guy's name. Nor the character, but in the book, it seemed to make a fair amount of sense. It was badly written, and the story kinda sucked, truth be told, but it thoroughly and accurately explained why and what the second amendment was intended for. "All enemies, foreign and domestic." We grow them here, at home, and they climb to lofty positions. Best they represent us, rather than lord over us.

When Beto stated “Hell yeah, we're going to take your AR-15.”

I understood that to mean all the Democrat Presidential Candidates on stage with him.
Note, that not a single one on stage stated opposition to his plan.

Klobuchar, considered as the candidate most toward the center stated, “Everyone up here favors an assault weapons ban. Everyone up here favors magazine limitations.”

I also understand that Elizabeth Warren has a couple of Tomahawks. Wink

This guy says stuff like that because he's addicted to the applause and the approval he receives when saying them. This is the kind of thing I expect from teenagers.

This douchebag could flap his arms hard enough to achieve powered flight, but he's still never going to be POTUS. Everyone knows it, even he. He's an overgrown juvenile trying to impress his friends. It's pathetic, truly.

That is what came to my mind. In Part 3 there is an escalating war on those who were in charge of the oppression and carried out their orders. The acronym ATFOTRAF was later coined as the motto of that book ("After The First One, The Rest Are Free"--a reference to the fact that you can only be executed once, no matter how many murders you've commited.)

Not a chance, I'd give better odds to O'Rourke getting the nomination.

She, along with Barry, have a production company called Higher Grounds and signed a multi year contract with Netflix. They are in show business now, part of the Hollywood elite, with a bunch of projects already in the pipeline. Do you really think those two in particular would want to give all of that up (and more) for another 4-8 years in the WH?
