I suspect this substitution occurred the same way many have relative to conversations having to do with sex and sexual relations. People substitute less alarming words to say what they want without a red face. Those words, while at first removing the edge, become the edge and in fact, move the vocabulary to more coarse content by virtue of association and the pure volume of words now relative to sex. Still, wanna see eyes pop? Refer to gender as sex in polite conversation. lol  You’re a lying dog-faced pony soldier | |||
