I have annoying issues with calendar and brave. Need to keep restarting those apps as displayed content gets corrupted. Ignoring security updates, I’d wait. But not sure how to weigh against security updates.

I’m checking every day to see if a new update is available.

Eta: im also skipping this version of monterey. I’ll wait for the next dot release.

My phone did the automatic update of it this morning. Had no real issues yet but I don't use a lot of my phone's features anyway.

I wish Apple would own up to and fix their F'n bluetooth problems with Toyota vehicles. Have a brand new iPhone 13 that won't stay connected to my truck. I keep hoping the iOS updates will fix it...but nope. Fuck you Apple!

It's working fine so far on my iPhone 12 Pro Max

I thought I'd hate the new tabbed Safari but after moving the address bar back up top in settings, I'm kinda impressed. Seems much faster and better than the old version.

I noticed they brought back the spin dials with things like the alarm clock!

Broke my iPhone 6s. Guess I got my value from that. Got a 13 last night, which is running 15.1 fine.

Breaks manifested as apps that would freeze, crash, never get past a loading screen. Including the camera. Mail worked, safari mostly worked, messages worked, voice itself worked after a few power cycles. Other things didn’t, or started to swirl the drain.

Works fine on my 13 Pro. I just put 15.2 beta 2 on the iPhone. No issues on it, yet.

So, you don't think it's Toyota?

While I’m an admitted Apple fan, I’m not above torching them when warranted (which seems more often than not these days). That said, it may be a Toyota issue. Toyota resisted for a LONG time allowing CarPlay; instead trying to get drivers to use Toyota’s proprietary service.

I direct connect with a charging cable in my Camry, the Bluetooth has always been an issue for me.

I have a couple different manufacturers vehicles here to include a toyota, and travel for work, and have rented multiple brands of cars. Toyota is the only one I have issues with dropping Bluetooth.

Also have an Iphone 13 with 15.1 and have not experienced any issues.

Working fine for us, here in the V-Tail household. Mrs. V-Tail and I each have a personal iPhone X, and she also has a 7 for business.

One definite improvement that I have noticed: the Apple Watch can be unlocked via the iPhone. Prior to iOS 15, it was always something of a struggle to do this, it sometimes took many tries. Now, with iOS 15, it's working the way it should; just put the Watch on my wrist, pick up the phone and glance at it, and bada bing, the watch is unlocked. First try, every time.

Seems to be working OK on my 2020 SE. I did watch a few YT videos on new features and made sure to recheck privacy settings.
