I'll believe it when it's announced on the Supreme Court's website that she is back in chambers. Till then, no way.

I call BS.

She wan't called on because the adoring crowd would have given her a 5-minute standing ovation to which she would have had to stand and acknowledge...that it wasn't her.

Her absence at SOTU tonight can only be a protest if she is capable of attending and doesn't. This establishes that she supposedly could go, but didn't because DT is scum.

She was apparently fine on whatever date she supposedly attended the fluff fest play, but possibly she'll relapse and work from home again for the next supreme session.

Loved this quote from her son...

quote:
The concert was presented by her daughter-in-law and other musicians. Patrice Michaels is married to Ginsburg’s son, James. Michaels is a soprano and composer. James Ginsburg said before the concert that his mother is walking a mile a day and meeting with her personal trainer twice a week.

No one said her feet were actually moving.

Narrator:
Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Supreme Court Justice. A woman barely alive.

Oscar Goldman:
We can rebuild her. We have the technology. We can make her better than she was. Better, stronger, faster.

No, she's skipped it before - I can't see them dragging her in there knowing that she can't stay awake for more than 30 minutes at a time.

^^^ Stephen Miller, I like that idea!

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

The next day court is in session, if RGB is a no show, DT should call a news conference and nominate immediately. Make them show the money!

I think people ought to call the police to do a "welfare check" on RBG. She hasn't been seen and we want to make sure she is ok.

After attending a concert last night, RBG is able to make it to the SOTU address.

Huh? She won't be the first elderly justice to hang on until the bitter end. In the meantime, we are stuck with it.
