That’s a false narrative used by the left to justify their rejection of federal laws. For one, their population tends to work there while young, then move once retired to escape the high cost of living and taxes. This inflates the donor number by shifting the fed’s payouts to another state for the retired drawing Soc Sec and Medicare. Furthermore, the cost of defense is not factored into the numbers, since California disproportionately benefits from a national defense over a state like Kansas or Utah. California would go bankrupt attempting to provide this for themselves. Even using their own numbers, CA is receiving $.99 on the dollar that it pays in. This hardly justifies the way it’s politicians are flipping the bird at Trump. Finally, I thought paying taxes was an altruism that Californians relished, a charitable opportunity to help out their fellow man, representing the highest ideal of their liberal mindset. Certainly there could be no reason for complaint by a California politician. Demand not that events should happen as you wish; but wish them to happen as they do happen, and you will go on well. -Epictetus

I just sent a $100 check to the Devin Nunes campaign committee. We owe him, big time. He’s done a lot of heavy lifting. Serious about crackers

I'm almost 76 -- please God, let me live long enough to watch the above occur! ------------------------------------------------------------ "I have resolved to fight as long as Marse Robert has a corporal's guard, or until he says give up.
