While I agree with your sentiment you do know that California pays more to the Fed than it receives back?
That’s a false narrative used by the left to justify their rejection of federal laws. For one, their population tends to work there while young, then move once retired to escape the high cost of living and taxes. This inflates the donor number by shifting the fed’s payouts to another state for the retired drawing Soc Sec and Medicare.
Furthermore, the cost of defense is not factored into the numbers, since California disproportionately benefits from a national defense over a state like Kansas or Utah. California would go bankrupt attempting to provide this for themselves.
Even using their own numbers, CA is receiving $.99 on the dollar that it pays in. This hardly justifies the way it’s politicians are flipping the bird at Trump.
Finally, I thought paying taxes was an altruism that Californians relished, a charitable opportunity to help out their fellow man, representing the highest ideal of their liberal mindset. Certainly there could be no reason for complaint by a California politician.

I just sent a $100 check to the Devin Nunes campaign committee. We owe him, big time. He’s done a lot of heavy lifting.

Let the state collapse and give them NOTHING! No bailout, loans or assistance.
This goes the same for New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts and every other liberal, progressive democrat HELL HOLE states, county and city.
I am so disgusted with these people, that I can care less about their health, well being, economy or anything else that benefits them.
One has to remember that the people of these HELL HOLES voted them in, so they get what they voted for!
I'm almost 76 -- please God, let me live long enough to watch the above occur!
