Will Green from Florida. He hasn't posted in a couple months, not responding to my emails. He contacted me a while back after I made a reference to losing our cat. We've emailed regularly since.
Will was homebound for some time, complications from a stroke. His buddy Fuzz has made regular appearances in the cat thread and elsewhere.
He's contributed in many other areas of interest here, maybe someone got closer to him than me being halfway across the country.
He's a good friend and I'm worried, sending prayers for him. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Ripley,

Where in Fla does he live OP, my brother lives in Tampa and can maybe go check up on him.
Cutler Bay in the Miami area.
I never met Will in person, but I corresponded with him both by email and text. I just reviewed, and the last text was October 29, 2021.
I just sent him a message, when it's iPhone-to-iPhone you receive a delivery status. My message shows "Delivered," so presumably his phone is online. I'll report back if he replies.

I don’t like it when I don’t notice an absence like just1tym’s. There’s a music thread in The Lair and I enjoyed his contributions. I’m glad that there are others more attentive than I. Sure hope he’s on the mend.

Just heard from Will, he's been low profile and well under the weather. Our sparse Christmas here just got better. Merry Christmas to all, thanks for all those concerned about our friend.

I feel bad enough opening this thread, kinda like a stalker. Will wasn't specific except to say getting help with his problems has been that much more difficult with various Covid protocols. I'm leaving it at that until he's got more energy. Yeah, he's spending very little time with the internet these days but does mention Fuzz is watching over him.

Hello all, and a sincere heartfelt thank you for all of your concerns. God bless you all. In short, between my brain surgery/stroke, heart event, and running on one kidney since 1964, it seems that it has all caught up to me lately. The reduced functioning of my left kidney has me a bit concerned and I'm not at this point going to opt for dialysis. I've ceased all medications to include my heart meds do to side effects in order to possibly find the main culprit causing extreme breathing and endurance issues. Having to place chairs in the kitchen and other rooms as that is as far as I can reach before my breathing gives away. I have fluid build up in both lower legs ankles and feet that blister and start draining fluid onto the floor. So everywhere I go I need a towel on the floor to catch the fluid. Can't wear a shoe because it fills the shoe with the fluid in short order. I take furosemide to help but it takes days to stop the draining.
I really struggle with discussing my health issues mostly because many here suffer from all sorts of illness, disease, and disabilities. I'm coming up on 70 so many understand from an age point that things just have a way of catching up to us. I never could have prevented the brain aneurysm and subsequent stroke following surgery and the heart attack a few years ago. The kidney, I've always wondered about the longevity having my right removed in 1964 due to a baseball injury.
It's just my time I guess. I have a very strong faith in God and hold fast to his promises. I'm not sure where these complications will lead me but whatever comes next, I'm tired, and ready.
I really didn't wish to get into my details but you're all like family in a unusual sort of way. It's very likely that my time here on the forum will be very limited. Just mentally, physically, and emotionally I'm taking a break to regroup. Again, thank you all for your concerns and well wishes.
Regards, Will G.

I've been battling a few of the problems you have for the last 3 years but the one I quoted is the one that really stuck out. The cause of mine swelling and weeping fluids was caused by very bad circulation in my legs. I wound up with numerous stints in my legs. The left one is mostly back to normal and I have one more procedure on the right scheduled in Feb. but the swelling is mostly gone as of now. I highly recommend you see a vein specialist as soon as possible. The initial cause of mine was something they call May-Thurner syndrome.
My shortness of breath resulted in 5 heart stints which eliminated most of that problem.
