I realize that all of you have the very best of intentions, but we need to pursue this no further. The last time just1tym logged into the forum was on December 17th, the day he made his last post. In that post, he told us the score. There's a high probability that he's already gone.

In the more than two decades of this forum's existence, the core members have become something of a family, and in that two decades, we have become two decades older. It is inevitable, of course, that we lose members over time, and it is admirable that some of you care so much about these losses and seek to delay them as much as possible.

We need to be respectful of just1tym's family's privacy. Again, I realize that your intentions are only the very best, but if anyone in the family wishes to let us know anything, they will do so.

In the passing of our fellow forum members, we see our own, inevitable departure from this existence. Take comfort in the fact that no one truly knows the answer to the mysteries of our existence and of what lay beyond the threshold. As for myself, I suspect we are infinite, though not in our present form.

I know I don’t post much, but I read a LOT.

And the above post by Para is the post of a very smart dude…

Sums up all the stuff that I try real hard not to take as a negative as I get up there.

I think I visited the old Sig forum in 2003? when going through cancer, and wondering if I would live or die. The message by Para rings true about our mortality.
Now in 2022 as I've aged, my mortality is still pending. One thing I've learned, is our Internet friends can vanish from our daily encounters with them abruptly without notice and we will never know why or can find out.
I wish Will peace, where ever he is at.
