Spin it and sit it. This method is superior as the twist tie method always comes partially unraveled and creates an inferior seal. That's my logic at least. Either way. If you then put the sealed bag in another sealed plastic bag before throwing it back in the fridge, though, it will stay noticeably fresher for longer than would be the case if you only relied on your tie-off method and the original bread bag. | |||

If you're worried about it going stale, you're not eating it fast enough! Buy a smaller loaf (or cut it in half, and freeze a half). This for good bread, the non-artisan stuff, why would anyone car what you do with it? | |||

I have been making my own bread lately and I do what konata88 does, I put it in a Tupperware container also. The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution.
