They said that about Butler too. But they caught him alive and he's probably going to talk.

I would have been shocked if they didn't. That's what first came to mind last night, right after the shooting happened. Told myself, "Wait for it...wait for it...Here it comes".

No way. This will be used to call for even stricter gun control. It is the way their minds are wired.

Plus, it wouldn't surprise me if more than one of the "journalists" in attendance has a concealed weapons permit (though of course wouldn't be carrying at that event). Being part of the special elite class, they see the rules differently for them than us.

Remember, gun control isn't about objective analysis nor in any way constrained by an underlying human right to self defense.

It is an interesting "manifesto", he even has an opinion on the security surrounding the event. But one passage says it all, and how the absolute lies from the media and others have corrupted the thinking of some citizens out there. TDS in full force.

On to why I did any of this:

I am a citizen of the United States of America.

What my representatives do reflects on me.

And I am no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes.

Well that was...weird. He actually seems like a relatively intelligent guy who just got eaten up by a very flawed ideology and decided it was his responsibility to act. It's kinda terrifying that a seemingly normal person can jump to that extreme.

I'm also curious why the exception for Kash Patel in his "rules of engagement" regarding administration officials?

Dude also didn't give a lot of thought to what buckshot is going to do in large room crowded with people if he truly wanted to minimize collateral damage. Thankfully they got him before he had a chance to use it.

All kidding aside, Joe Biden told them to get a shotgun.

Sadly, I don’t believe it will be much longer before we see places that “MAGA people” hangout decimated by violence. The far left are being fed daily on how desperate their situation is.

Anyone who believes otherwise should do himself a favor and study a little about the history of the infringement of gun ownership rights in this and many other countries.

I believe we have gotten to the point that a majority of Americans want less individual freedom, and not just for others, but for themselves as well. That doesn’t apply to everything, but it is certainly true of the belief that we will all be better off if no one is permitted to own dangerous objects.

Numerous sources say he was a graduate from Caltech, with an Electrical Engineering degree. I'm not saying that makes him automatically a smart, common-sense guy, but the school is one of the top two STEM universities in the country and isn't an easy study. But he was stupid/gullible enough to believe the lies and commie propaganda hook, line & sinker, and he actually thought he was going to do the noble thing by killing Hitler and his staff.

The shooter bought his guns legally, through the roadblocks that CA set up for gun buyers, perhaps the most restrictive state regarding firearms- he went thru NICS, the 10 day background check, no evil black rifles, 10 rd mags, etc. It wasn't the guns that drove him to this, it was the relentless, overwhelming Democrat propaganda that brainwashed him into thinking it was good and admirable to kill Trump and his administration.

Man hailed as hero for jumping in front and shielding Trump as shots rang out. His identity is still unknow at this time.

By ELINA SHIRAZI, US SENIOR POLITICAL REPORTER
PUBLISHED: 15:39 EDT, 26 April 2026 | UPDATED: 16:17 EDT, 26 April 2026

A man has been heralded as an unsung hero after he jumped in front of President Donald Trump as soon as the alarm was sounded about gunfire at the White House Correspondents' Dinner.

In dramatic footage that has since gone viral, the man - whose identity is currently unknown - was seen reacting with lightning speed.

As the first pops of gunfire echoed through the subterranean lobby of the Washington Hilton, the man did not duck; instead, he lunged toward Trump, using his own body as a human shield to block the Commander-in-Chief from potential fire.

A grainy but powerful still from the footage showed the man jumping mid-air, covering the President as he is ushered toward the backstage exit.

The suspect, identified by authorities as Cole Allen, 31, of Torrance, California, reportedly charged a security checkpoint armed with a shotgun, a handgun and several knives.

Allen was tackled by agents after a brief but terrifying exchange of gunfire in the hotel lobby.

One Secret Service officer was shot at close range during the melee. In what many are calling a miracle, the bullet was stopped by his ballistic vest.

President Trump later praised the officer's bravery, stating from the White House: 'He was shot from very close distance with a very powerful gun, and the vest did the job.' 'I just spoke to the officer and he's doing great.'

Cabinet members including Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, became a scene of pure pandemonium.

Footage shows guests in tuxedos and evening gowns huddled under tables as Secret Service patrol the ballroom floor.

The incident occurred at the same hotel where President Ronald Reagan was shot in 1981 – an eerie historical parallel that was not lost on those in attendance.

Just like Secret Service Agent Tim McCarthy, the agent who took a bullet for Reagan 45 years ago, last night's 'hero agent' is being celebrated across social media for his 'extraordinary courage.'

Trump, still wearing his tuxedo, addressed the nation just two hours later. 'When you're impactful, they go after you,' he said defiantly. 'They seem to think he was a lone wolf. We're not going to let anybody take over our society.'

The White House has confirmed that the dinner will be rescheduled within 30 days, promising an event that is 'bigger and better.'

But for now, Washington remains on high alert as it grapples with yet another attempt on the President's life.

Meantime, the family of the suspect who stormed the White House Correspondents' Dinner has revealed his past radical statements and his plans to 'fix' the world as his manifesto is uncovered.

Cole Tomas Allen, 31, a teacher from Torrance, California, was seen attempting to bolt past a security checkpoint while armed with a shotgun, a handgun and several knives on Saturday night.

He exchanged fire with Secret Service agents before they tackled him to the ground and arrested him. One agent was struck in his bulletproof vest and is expected to recover. No one else was harmed.

Authorities have now discovered that Allen wrote a chilling manifesto before he arrived at the Washington Hilton Hotel, where the dinner was being hosted.

Allen's family members told law enforcement that he had sent them some of his disturbing writings before the attack, which prompted his brother to alert police. The writings did not specifically mention the dinner on Saturday, CBS News reported.

Allen's brother notified the New London Police Department in Connecticut of the manifesto minutes before the attack, a White House official confirmed to CNN.

Donald Trump said in an interview with Fox News that he had heard about the report and wished the department had informed federal authorities earlier.

US Secret Service and Montgomery County Police also interviewed the suspect's sister in Rockville, Maryland, a White House official told CNN.

This school has a backdoor admissions process called Questbridge, look it up, on the surface it seems harmless enough, once you dig into it you would be shocked at how much of the incoming class is reserved for them and their often lower test scores, and help writing college essays from professionals. I would love to know if this guy was a questbridge admit.

Killing Trump has been completely normalized by the media. The progressive platforms don't even try to moderate the hate. Leftists are openly discussing how the country would be better off if this deranged guy had been successful. If they do succeed in their assassination goals the base will be partying in the streets.

If that question were the least bit serious, you would be asking them, not me here. Wink

But the answer is obvious: People calling for gun ban aren’t going to ban anything they themselves find significantly useful.

As for cars, some people do contend that we don’t really need them—at least in current numbers, sizes, etc. I recall an acquaintance who served as a Foreign Service officer in Europe decades ago and came back claiming that we here didn’t really need cars and our transportation needs could be met by public means (busses, et al.). In addition to serving in Europe where many people don’t (or didn’t, anyway) have cars, she grew up in the Washington, DC, area that has pretty good public transportation. Like so many “visionaries,” she had no concept of what life was like for the vast majority of Americans.

The last time I saw her a few years ago, though, she had a small SUV parked in a personal lot next to her house in DC proper. For some reason she discovered that maybe banning personal cars wasn’t such a good idea after all. But guns? Nope, no one needs those at all.

When a person charges a Secret Service member at a magnatometer, shoots at them with the clear intent of causing additional harm, and it's reported in the news, and people are making fun of the situation, those people are truly deranged. This clearly shows the intent of people with certain political beliefs, and how far they are willing to go.

Those individuals have no idea of the type, amount, and fury that would be unleashed against them should the worse happen. And they’ve already identified themselves by their “virtue signaling” signage on their vehicles, homes, places of work/worship, and social media postings. It’s been “noted”.

We are well into the “Fourth Turning” that began in 2008 with that financial crisis. And we have another 4+ years to go before the cycle resets. The last “Fourth Turning” began in 1929 and ended in 1947. The “Fourth Turning” before that one was from 1850 to 1868. I believe y’all know what happened during those intervening years.
