The people of Iran have never been in a better position to put a democratic style government in place. There’s no doubt that they took some licks the last 6 weeks or so, but if there’s still a will to act, they are in far better position to act. I listened to the BBC all morning while I was working on a truck, and the level of ignorance, bullshit, and idiocracy in Iran's favor was off the charts. I originally wanted to get information, but they were so fucking stupid about the whole situation they were completely useless. Here's an example, talking to an "expert" in Middle East affairs, the interviewer asks the expert a question: "Why would Trump attack Iran if Iran was negotiating terms of peace with the US and Israel ?" And the "expert" answers the question in a way that pretends to be serious, but the answer was just as fucking moronic as the question itself. You probably were. My wife is from Iran and every Iranian I know is beside themselves happy with the prospect of democracy in Iran. I also saw videos 10's of thousands of Iranians in the street celebrating the death of the Ayatollah. JP | |||
