I know this was said before but I pictured some kind of equipment failure/homemade or other actual line tap/valve or some such. I never pictured hells version of a water park. How can anybody that has even remotely lived to reach adulthood not see that and not think nope nope nope. I mean I would be iffy being as close as the camera guy.

Dante’s Inferno come to life is what I thought when I saw the video.

In Afghanistan they are always tapping into live high voltage wires. My favorite technique involves 3 people. 2 pull opposite directions on the wire whicle the 3rd cuts it with scissors. If nobody gets electrocuted (or after the corpse is hauled away), they splice in and steal some power.

This reminded me of that, only warmer...

Oh, they need a Stop, Drop & Roll campaign with a pipeline version; 1st run upstream of surface gasoline flow...then stop-drop and roll!
