The above is facetious, but there are some who haven't gotten the message or haven't corrected it.

Swapped mine the instant I got the notice, then completely deleted the PB account.

I will deal with this soon. I have just been busy and I keep putting it off. Is it ok if I repost in the cat thread? it has been so long since I posted 'metalica cat' that I want to add it back in but have no idea what page I posted it on oroginally. Same for so many other threads I don't even remember what half of the pics were. Some where just direct links and some I hosted on PB.
I know some of you are "get what you pay for" but damn to go from 10+ years I have used them for free to "$400 this time bitch" is a bitter pill. So up yours Photo bucket I would have paid $$ but now I will take my photos and my money somewhere else.

Alright. This is a test.

Well, it all seems to work OK. I went with Flickr...seems like a nice site and you can easily privatize your profile.

We shall see.

Or not. . . I have been trying all morning and it cant seem to figure out how to actually let me download (the download fails everytime and I get the "hmm, something went wrong, please try again" crap. so now I just delete the account, and screw you photobucket.

**edited to add new pic and avatar test**

I sat here taking forever deleting 6 pages of uploaded images on PB, and then I deleted my account. I then downloaded the Imgur app, but I've been too busy to upload anything yet.

Well, Flickr seems to work OK with the avatar but it resizes regular photos when I download them and won't seem to let me resize them for posting here. Back to the drawing board I guess.

Well, I went to Picture trail and it seems to be working much better for me. We will see again.

If you posted that photo from Flickr® you are not following their rules because the links back to Flickr and you are not there. They don't like it if you don't obey their rules.

If you use their "Share" tool, you have the ability to specify the size to be posted. When you are on the photo page, there should be a few symbols at the lower right below the picture--one of those is a bent outline arrow. Click on that and it will bring up a panel with several format selections (use BBCode) and a selection of sizes (I choose the largest size not exceeding 800). A link will be displayed in the box with a blue background. Copy that and paste it into the forum as is, all of it. The photo will be displayed at the size requested and with links at the bottom back to the Flickr® page and to you. This fully meets the requirements imposed by Flickr to which you agreed when you became a subscriber. (I don't think it will work for avatars, though.) Example:

Yeah, I see now what you mean. I will stay with PictureTrail as you can do whatever you want with your pics and resizing is very easy. But, thanks!

Thanks...I think Confused...

I've tried to change/delete the stupid FB avatar several times over the past week + and checking my most recent post to see if it worked...it hasn't. The FB avatar is gone from my profile page, it does not appear...for me anyway, in this thread, BUT it still shows up on my previous last post. I imagine, your help here indicates the FB avatar is showing up HERE on your screen...in spite of it NOT appearing on my screen ConfusedConfusedConfused.....
