"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Bongino left last week, he said they were unable to come to an agreement on contract. They offered to let him have one more show to say goodbye he refused. Now Tucker, Brandon Howse said he knew an insider at Fox that said the Murdochs were planning on selling Fox News after the Dominion settlement. I guess time will tell.

I watch his YouTube clips, exclusively. He has been more and more provocative going after the swamp, with his guests and commentary, been going on for a long time. I think it came to a head when he showcased the Jan 6 tapes on the Monday airing, then had to shut it down by Tuesday. He looked pretty shook up, too.

Since then he has been ramping it up and I've been wondering just how long Fox would let him get away with it. Now we know.

Just looked up March viewership stats where Tucker was #1 overall most watched cable news at 3.25M and #1 for the coveted 25-54.

I personally found him annoying and repetitive.

My guess is both Bongino and Carlson will see more traffic and $$$ with streaming channels.
As for me, broadcast news in any way shape or form is completely dead.

Just cancelled Fox Nation...They ask for a reason, so I gave them one: The 'departure' of Tucker Carlson and Dan Bongino!

There are NO refunds, so the cancellation is effective 2/28/24. I expect this will be a BIG Fuckin' Deal for Fox Nation subscribers!

I stopped watching Fox News shortly after the 2020 election, but Tucker Carlson was basically the only show I was watching anyway. I signed up for Fox Nation at the end of February 2021, purchased a couple of Roku Streaming Sticks and canceled my cable subscription w/ Comcast just one week later in early March 2021.

Looks like SIGforum is my exclusive news source now... Wink

It's bad enough losing Tucker, he produced content not found on other tv shows. Stuff that needs to be heard.

Then there are the regular voices on Tucker's show no one else airs -- Miranda Devine, Glenn Greenwald, covid skeptics, on and on. I don't see how Carlson moves to another platform as accessible as Fox News, one big assed domino fell today.

From Breitbart’s headline article. . .

“According to Mediaite in 2022, “Carlson [was] the number-one watched host among Democrats in the key 25-54 age demographic – across all networks” in the month of October.”

I guessing that tptb could not take a chance at the on-going Red-pilling of this demographic and they had to kill their Golden Goose for ‘the cause’.

I imagine he'll go independent, kind of like Megyn Kelly whose show is doing great. In fact I think he'd be smart to. He already has a ton of money and a huge established fan base. He'd immediately end up in the top 5 podcasts or internet shows I should think. And frankly, I'd immediately start watching/listening to him again cause as I said, I haven't watched Fox in years.

Carlson and Lemon out, not surprising, and Susan Rice at the White House too.

Yup. Fox is just controlled opposition. They dropped their mask on election night Nov 2020.

So FNC stock went down after Carlson's departure while CNN's stock ticked slightly up after shitcanning Don Lemon. How about that?
