This is an intense encounter and shows how busy it can be in a pursuit.

I was just going to post this. Here is the embedded full video. Looks like he got good shots on target when he got beside them.

Wow! Lots of bullets flying. And what about the officers hearing damage from shooting inside a vehicle! That’s an extremely brave Officer, glad he survived through all that. I was cringing at the one handed steering through all that traffic, thankful the officer made it.

Not to be picky, but whoever wrote the article, it’s elude, not allude.

That was a scene straight outta Grand Theft Auto!

Look like the cops need some sort of hands free communications device, driving, talking, and gunning needs 3-4 hands to do effectively. Even a headset with a PTT on the wheel would be nice.

I think some departments practice it with junk yard cars

I am amazed at how the officer got it done despite the possibility of eye and hearing damage from shooting through the glass in a confined space. He was relentless in doing his duty.

That was intense! Glad the officer is OK.

I don't really know how criminals think, but am guessing since they were fleeing a murder they really didn't care who they killed with their vehicle or gunshots.

There's been at least several shootings like this in the last few years, that I know of. One was discussed recently here, officer rolled up on an active shooter who was actively trading rounds with another officer on foot, and they both put shots on him, the one through the windshield. There was another one more like this video where the officer fired his short AR through the windshield at someone in a rather nasty pursuit.

Yep, per the article, they had just murdered someone at a car wash.

I've done training shooting into and out of vehicles; front and side windows. Although the only thing moving was the mobile remote controlled target outside the stationary vehicle!

Shooting through the windshield while pursuing the other vehicle is....intense!

Should be "try to elude." I guess that proofreading is a thing of the past in news publishing.

Those guys apparently did not realize they were about to tangle with super man. My adrenaline was going just watching that, I can't imagine being in it.

The magazine change was also well executed, all things considered.
