Well, to counterpoint that, my son is a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which is one of the most liberal bastions in the country, and he has become much more vocally conservative since he enrolled there.

My daughter is in her second year at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, and there is very little overt wokeness going on there either. She is a typically Gen Zer who is far too influenced by what she sees on Tik-Tok, but even she is starting to show some signs of questioning the liberal orthodoxy.

Did you consider the possibility that your child is rebelling against that upbringing now that they are becoming more independent?

Unfortunately, that is changing. The people hired at even conservative Christian colleges are coming in under the radar with their radical beliefs held in check. It takes a lot of digging to ferret out the radical beliefs.

I respectfully disagree. The problem I see is parents, helicoptering it or babying their children. When I was in college I had to work, full time. I had zero time for rallies, political talk, protests, or any other such bullshit. Class, workout at the gym, go to work for 8-10 hours, study, rinse/repeat. I was so busy I had no time for such bullshit. The problem today isn’t the university it’s entitlement. Kids think they’re entitled to just go to school and have this “journey” or “experience” etc, of college only. Or I’ll hear a parent bragging that their punk ass kid works 10-20 hours a week at the Starfucks or some other type job like that. So delusional, the parents and the kids. Get a fucking real job, and start working. That’s what I did. Took a massive paycut from one sector to another, to gain experience. Started at the very bottom in my field my degree was for. Through 5 years of uni, worked myself up the ladder, busting ass. These idiots are going to Cancun for Spring Break and putting the entire vacation on credit cards or student loan debt. Entitlement 101. Reality is money, bills and work, hard fucking work. Not parties, rallies, protests, and radicalization. Spoiled entitled brats have time for all that. Rest of us have zero time for that bs.

These spoiled fucking brats who “just” go to college, and mommy and daddy pays for everything and/or they take out massive fucking loans so they can do nothing. That’s the problem. I’ve got a house on my street that is a rental. Currently 4 College aged and College attending Hindus living in it where mommy and daddy pay for everything. 2 days ago I had to call the PD. Hindus invited I don’t know how many people over in the middle of the day. My entire street, up and down, no parking left. And they were parking vehicles on the next street. Same shit happened last year, all the time, at night. A few of my neighbors were outside discussing the problem when I walked up, told them PD was on the way, and right when I said it the burbo was rolling down our street. 2 of the college pukes that lived there walked over to talk to us. The first was saying they were having a bible study. I laughed in his face. 100+ kids, and not one of them had a Bible or a copy of the Koran as they were dispersed. Not a one. I told that kid to pull my other leg and it plays jingle bells. I also told him, in the Bible it says “love thy neighbor”. Then I used my entire arm and hand to gesture down the entire street where it looked like a bar/club parking lot. You couldn’t park another car on my fucking street if you tried. I said “Is this loving thy neighbor or fucking thy neighbor over, I’m confused?” He gave up trying to sell me at that point, and knew he was defeated. For all I know they were having a political rally in that house.

College students with nothing to do, is a parent problem. Not the university. You don’t have to go to college to get radicalized on lefty bullshit anyhow. All that bs is all over social medias, the liberal media, etc. You can get indoctrinated from your sofa at home. They have entitled lives, and that’s on the parents. They lack critical thinking skills, which is also on the parents. The world is an ugly, fucked up place. It’s up to the parents to train their kids to ignore this, and ignore that. Quit trying to fit in with idiots too. Walk your own path, march to the beat of your own drummer, fuck what everyone else is doing. Today, many are just sheep breeding more sheep. If these parents see their kid changing while in college, STOP paying the fucking bills for it. Tell their punk ass kid, every dime and cent, well you are own your boo! Turn that money spigot off and see how fast shit changes. Keep it turned on, and you get what you get.
