I ended up not going. It’s a 30 minute drive, but the truth is, I’m still too damned angry. I couldn’t even watch the stream of the memorial service.

I have been watching.

Seeing over 100,000 people unified in celebration of the life, accomplishment and that many young people have been influenced, with millions watching, is greater than my anger.

And that is a good thing.


A loud outburst is often attention getting, but the unseen and controlled power is on a most exponential magnitude of scale greater.

This is what a glimpse of that power is against all those who believe in the power of their noise.

I can’t watch it either. I’m so angry.

I’m no longer interested in justice. That’s just lip service to an idea that died with Charlie.
