How about creating a new sub-forum, like the "What's Your Deal" ?

Move all the political discussion in there and let those that want to see and take part do so and leave everyone else out of it.

A question for you- with you knowing full well the support Donald Trump has here, why do you remain a member of this forum? You think the man is an imbecile and we're bigger imbeciles for supporting him.

Why are you here? You like our company, perhaps? Roll Eyes

It has been that way for the last four years. It's been a total clown show. More Americans dead than were killed in WWII, because of inaction and bullshit politics. That alone should be enough.

I know, I know, 2A and guns and rights. But we at least have a president who can speak above a fifth grade reading level. I didn't vote for Biden, but it's likely he won't incite white nationalist terrorists to invade the Capitol building. Or something.

This opinion is unpopular here. But today felt like taking off one-size-too-small shoes I'd been wearing for 4 years. Not having to wake up every morning wondering what wacky shit our syphilitic narcissist in chief will burden us with. Hopefully this is the end of the Q nonsense as well.

Bullshit. Or something.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

@ billr

What an absolute chickenshit you are.

For four years, you have remained silent because you perceived "the right" was in power and control, and now, you perceive that this is no longer the case, and you are emboldened to strut and crow.

You have no idea that you would be wrong on both counts.

No. Idea.

You are no more than a fallen leaf floating down stream, slowly rotting away and thinking you mean something because you have motion.

Congratulations on fully succumbing to the false narrative of the dominant, and leftist-dominated, media.

Typical of a leftist mentality. On-line version of the typical Antifa or BLM chickenshits that sucker-punch people or gang up on those weaker than them.

I can't imagine what makes him think (stop lauging) he'll get away with it here.

Look at who holds the reins now (and I don't mean Biden), and tell us who will do more harm.

With that sentiment out of the way, I have to agree with El Jefe. I'ma take me a good long break from thinking about politics, and focus on spending quality time with my family and getting lotsa use out of our travel trailer.

I can't imagine the motivation of someone who would post such politics in a thread who's very subject is essentially the minimization of politics....

I would also like to say that if you really believe even a fraction of what you posted, then there is no help for you. Diagnosis terminal, do not resuscitate.

I can relate to most of the comments here and am in agreement. It reminds me of a funny thing about my dad. When he was about 80 he suddenly stopped receiving the 2 or three newspapers he did for probably over 50 years. When I discovered this I asked him why and what was going on. He said he didn't want to be bothered with any of that crap anymore and it was up us 'kids' to worry about it all and he would rather golf which he did two or three times a week until he passed at age 92. I now know exactly how he felt.

I own many Sigs. Many people here have knowledge I don't. I may have some they don't. It's an internet forum, and we discuss things.

The politics sucks though. Who could support that clownshoe? Like, with a straight face you think that asshole was fit to hold office? It was horrible. The last four years was awful.

You should have kept your stupid, fucked-up opinion to yourself. No one around here wants to listen to your ignorance. Say goodbye, Bill. Think whatever you want, and do it elsewhere.

It doesn't matter how many SIGs you own. You could be the biggest share holder in the company and still it would not matter. You've alienated members here, went out of your way to do so. Happy now? Just brilliant.

That's right- we discuss things, and you have voluntarily separated yourself from the group and you are no longer part of "we."

Say goodbye

Answer this, and only this, yes or no.

Do you believe the past four years under a Hillary Clinton administration would have been better than what has been written in the books for the Donald Trump administration that we had?

Yes, or no. No other discussion.

(and I was typing, not aware Para was just a bit faster on the keyboard than I...)

FWIW.
I am going to have to work on this "politics" thing. I keep thinking I can simply walk away, but damned if I am a stubborn, flinty headed, stiff necked Jew. While I don't mean to be an ass about things, I just have not figured out how to take a seat on the park bench and toss peanuts and seed to the squirrels and pigeons...

Gentlemen, our man Bill has clearly articulated the rabid insanity of the left. Quite revealing that he has remained silent during Trumps presidency. I would guess that he and others like him now feel emboldened to shove communism down our throats. Bill has done us a favor with his posting. He lets us all know just what we face.
I wonder if he will Pro-Joe in 2024?

I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, but I feel a little betrayed. Almost like there was a spy or a traitor in our ranks. I guess this is how someone feels when their spouse is unfaithful.

I don’t mind if someone has a difference of opinion. I have some friends that are leftists. Agree to disagree, or we just don’t talk politics. Having someone in our membership that sat here for four years and never said a word until now...

Difference if opinion is acceptable. Dishonesty about your opinion and hiding the truth for four years in absolutely unacceptable.

Bill has now earned himself a seat right next to Fender Bender.
