Reported on his Twitter page…

Ive seen him countless times in concert and cannot hear Howard Stern without remembering the insanity that he and Jackie/Artie used to say.

This one hurts.

A few years ago I had him do a Cameo for my buddy’s 50th birthday…f’ing classic.

I thought his voice was part of his appeal. He was a funny guy. I'll miss his comedy.

Beverly Hills Cop II. Just watched it the other day. “ Oh, oh, oh. Come right in. Don't let the fact that my door's closed dissuade you in any way from entering my office.”

RIP sir. You were hilarious.

So much of my comedy tastes are informed by Norm. When I hear a joke that I like I automatically think "would Norm think this is funny?" Not to tell me if I should like it, just because.

And I can't really think of anybody, besides his obvious influences, that could make Norm laugh more that Gilbert. So much more than just a crazy voice. I have told countless people about "I would eat her asshole for muscular dystrophy."

I'm gonna vote for the funniest frog with the loudest croak on the highest log.
