May God bless LEO's and please remember their family's. My first cousin is the wife of a fallen

My wife’s nephew is in LAPD, I won’t say where he works but it’s very dangerous stuff and we pray for his safety.

Thank you for posting this.

My youngest daughter is nearing the close of her first year as a peace officer. She has always had a high sense of the need to serve others. Those who protect and defend the thin veneer of this civilization deserve our respect, admiration, and vocal support.

Amen to that. A good friend of mine here is a retired sheriff deputy from Florida. We work together at our church food and firewood ministry. He's still serving.

I have family that are LE. They are the most selfless, and giving people I know. Blessings to all LEO's and their families.

I went to an event today for a bunch of middle- and high-school students. Two local sheriff's deputies shared the security duties.

Though they were certainly on duty, it was nice to see each of them somewhat relaxed, smiling, and enjoying watching the kids take part in the activity. Today's task sure had to be better than a lot of other things these officers face.

Cool

God bless America.

I agree 110% as they do a really tough job that requires more that any of us are willing to give.

I've had recent occasion to benefit from the professionalism, experience and excellent of law enforcement.

My appreciation is replete.

I will never be able to say thank you, enough, to the men and women who write a blank check for their lives, on a daily basis.

LE, Military, Firefighters, First Responders, and many others I am forgetting, thank you. Thank you so much for everything you do.

My Best Friend is a LEO, and he's a great guy. He did get shot by "friendly fire" a few years ago (still has the bullet in him) but is still on the job. I've known a lot of cops and admire and respect all of them.

Stay safe out there--you are needed!

My brother is a retired Idaho State Policeman.

He had a number of troopers who reported to him that were killed on duty. I shared his grief when I could. A couple in vehicle accidents, a couple were shot by bad guys.

One incident that really hit him hard was when a fairly new female trooper wrote a dirt bag a ticket and he followed her back to the station and shot her in the parking lot.

I grieve every time I hear that another LEO has been shot.

It has been an especially bad week for Law Enforcement. I carried a badge for 42 years, much of it as a supervisor and manager. A tiny fraction have tarnished the badge but the vast majority are committed to do the right thing. I have always been in awe of the courage and selfless service of the officers I worked with. It has to be a calling, the money certainly isn't that good. God Bless them all and keep them safe.
